Meet at the top of the Jennifer Street Bridge and race to the bottom on the best kids’ ride you can find. You must sign a waiver before the event (18+ only). Helmets, gloves and padding optional but recommended. Place prizes and awards for Hottest Hot Wheel & Coolest Costume made possible with sponsorship from Dad. No scooters or playground bullies allowed. Any low-clearance ride will do! Hang around afterwards for refresh-ments at Gus's.

Bike Fashion Creation Night is an evening when you let your imagination go wild. Create a cool bike outfit or funkify your existing cycle gear using bike parts like inner tubes and chains (provided at the event). Vests, belts, shorts, dresses, knick-ers, helmets, t-shirts, and baskets are all fair game. Experienced artistes will also be available to inspire and help you execute your concept.

Join us for the family bike happening! Kidical Mass is a venue for parents to teach their kids how to ride smart. We ride through downtown SLO as a group, to share the joy of riding bicycles. Rides are open to all ages & abilities, the more the merrier as we intro-duce our community to the next generation of bicycle riders. The theme is superheroes. All participants are asked to ride bikes, not scooters, parents and guardians included.

As a way to promote our non-profit freeride trail building organization, FASTA will be hosting FREE SHUTTLES from Central Coast Brewing to the top of Cuesta Grade. We’ll showcase the legal trails we build, and recruit future volunteers. It is also a way to say thank you to all of our hardworking volunteers.

The Land Conservancy of San Luis Obispo County and the SLO Bicycle Club will host a group bicycle ride from the Octagon Barn to the Avila Beach pier and back. The 15-mile ride will be at a leisurely, easy pace on mostly flat terrain to accommodate all levels of biking experience. Meet at the Octagon Barn, 1/4 mile south of the S. Higuera & Los Osos Valley Road intersection.

The Pedal to Paella is a festive ride for all ages. We’ll meet at Santa Margarita Park and ride though the back alleys of Santa Margarita making plenty of noise and mayhem.
