Big Ram Ramblin’
Connections? Whether we admit it or not,
they are what every person needs. To connect and
form strong bonds with family, friends, co-workers,
the people around us, and with one’s faith is key to
both physical and mental health.
Sadly, as we grow older, we lose a lot of
those connections. As we do, it is vital to form new
ones and to maintain and strengthen existing ones. Not doing so even-
tually leads to depression or even worse.
OK, so now you know why it is healthy to belong to and partici-
pate in RAMs. Why it isd important for you to invite others to join our
club, and why, for your own health, it is very important to participate
and buy tickets for Lady’s Day.
Bring your favorite lady - Wife, Girlfriend, Daughter, Grand-
daughter, Or? Tickets are on sale today. Terry Buterbaugh, Annual
Events Coordinator, has arranged for us to celebrate at a fantastic venue,
Trilogy at the Monarch Club. Strengthen your connection with your
favorite lady, buy tickets, and put Monday, May 14 on your calendar,
because that’s the date we’re celebrating “Ladies Day.”

Our March speaker, Brandon
Downing, Marketing and Creative
Director at KSBY, told us of the new
challenges of broadcasting. The ex-
plosion in news sources is actually
making it more difficult to be in-
formed. The burden to fact check is
now on the viewer.
KSBY has about 75 employees,
12 of whom are on air. Technology
has changer the satellite truck into a
satellite mini-car with fewer tech-
nical support. Frequently the report-
er is on site alone. There are 4.5
hours of news M-F, 1.5 on Sa & Su.

Song Sheet for Today
Five Cities Rams Song Leader Roy Parker, Don Frommelt alternate God Bless America God bless America, land that I love.
Stand beside her and guide her,
Through the night with a light from above.
From the mountains, to the prairie,
To the ocean white with foam,
God bless America, my home sweet home.
God bless America, my home sweet home.
Red Sails in the Sunset Red sails in the sun set, way out on the sea…
Oh, carry my loved one, home safely to me;
He sailed at the dawning, all day I’ve been blue…
Red sails in the sun set, I’m trusting in you.
Swift wings you must borrow make straight for the
shore,
We marry tomorrow, and he goes sailing no more.
Red sails in the sun set, way our on the sea.
Oh, carry my loved one home safely to me.
Swift wings you must borrow make straight for the
shore,
We marry tomorrow, and he goes sailing no more.
Red sails in the sun set, way out on the sea,
Oh, carry my loved one home safely to me.
Please carry my loved one (slow) home safely to me.
Memories Are Made of This Take one fresh and tender kiss, add one stolen night of
bliss.
One girl! One boy! Some grief! Some joy!
Memories are made of this.
Don’t forget a small moonbeam, fold in lightly with a
dream.
Your lips! And mine! Two sips! Of wine!
Memories are made of this.
Then add the wedding bells, one house where lovers
dwell.
Three little kids for the flavor,
Stir carefully thru the days, see how the flavor stays.
These are the dreams you will savor.
With his blessing from above, serve it generously with
love.
One man! One wife! One love! Through life!
Memories are made of this.
Easter Parade In your Easter bonnet, with all the frills upon it,
You’ll be the grandest lady in the Easter Parade.
You’ll be all in clover, and when they look you over,
I’ll be the proudest fellow in the Easter Parade.
On the avenue, Fifth Avenue, the photographers will
snap us,
And you’ll find that you’re in the rotogravure.
Oh, I could write a sonnet about your Easter bonnet,
And of the girl I’m taking to the Easter Parade.
