Mateusz Maj is the coordinator of the Working Group
Big Data of the IA|BE. He is the managing director of
Digital Driving Pass (DDP) - driver-centric telematics
platform that analyzes driving behavior and links it with
drivers and companies. DDP platform allows companies
building innovative and successful prevention and
telematics-based insurance programs.

Professor dr. Bart Baesens an associate professor at KU
Leuven, and a guest lecturer at the University of
Southampton (United Kingdom). He has done extensive
research on data mining and its applications.
His findings have been published in well-known
international journals and presented at international top
conferences. He is also (co)-author of the books Credit
Risk Management: Basic Concepts, Analytics in a Big
Data world, Fraud Analytics and Java programming.

Laurens Naudts is a legal researcher at the KU Leuven
Centre for IT & IP Law. He is currently involved in
several EU-funded projects. Laurens’ main research
focuses on the interrelationship between algorithmic
classification, equality, privacy and data protection. He
is a regular contributor to legal journal Privacy &
Informatie.
