Class Rules & Procedures
Be respectful of everyone, as well as of other cultures.
Have a positive attitude toward the target language!
Be responsible. Turn assignments in on time and be prepared for class.
Cell phone use is ONLY allowed to access WordReference, Duolingo, other approved Spanish learning sites/apps, or to participate in class activities that require a device.
Class Rules & Procedures
Participate! Please ask questions and participate in all class activities.
Be in your seat by the tardy bell.
Begin bellwork as soon as you are seated.
Return borrowed items before the end of class.
Do not pack up before the bell.
No eating or chewing gum during class.
Class Rules & Procedures
Check the calendar on the class webpage to obtain information on daily work, assignments, homework, quizzes, tests, and projects. Take advantage of the online resources provided on the website.
The use of online English-Spanish translators is forbidden. Any use of online translation services will be considered cheating and will be referred to the office for disciplinary action.
Keep the classroom clean and organized.
Attendance
Attendance is vital in order to be successful in this course. If you are absent, make-up work will be provided online through my teacher page. It will also be printed and be made available in the classroom. It is the student’s responsibility to obtain missed assignments and to communicate with the teacher about make-up work.
Make-up Work Policy
Late work must be turned in within 3 days of the original due date
It will be deducted 10 points every day late
After 3 days it will become a zero
If a student is absent, he or she will have 3 days to turn in work without penalty
Cell Phone Policy
1st – There will be a warning
2nd – I will keep it until the end of class
3rd – It will be given to principal to be collected at the end of the school day
