Information provided by: Contact address: Základní umělecká škola Na Pohoří 575 285 22 Zruč nad Sázavou Czech Republic fax + 420 327 531 332 http://www.zus-zruc.cz The fee includes: Active participants ~ fee 1 200 CZK ~ entry to the selling exhibition of sheet music, guitars and guitar accessories ~ free admission to the concerts The fee includes: Passive participants ~ fee 100 CZK ~ entry to the selling exhibition of sheet music, guitars and guitar accessories ~ free admission to the competition Prizes in total amount of € 11.000 ~ All music school students (including students of conservatories and music high schools – gymnasium) are allowed to participate in the competition; the competitors must comply with the given repertory and must be under age of 19 years. ~ The time limits and the order of pieces stated in the competitors’ applications must be abided. The time limits include the whole performance (including breaks between the pieces, tuning, etc.). ~ The competitors are obliged to play without scores. ~ The competitors must present a copy of birth certificate upon the organizer’s request. ~ Infringement of the conditions will lead to a participant’s disqualification. ~ The participants can apply for enrolment in a higher category. ~ The scores of obligatory pieces are not provided by the competition organizer. The obligatory pieces can not be used in the free programme; free pieces can be performed only once during the competition. ~ Laureate of the past competition is not allowed to participate the competition again. This must be consulted with the competition director in advance. The fee is not refundable in case of applicant’s absence. Travel, accomodation and meals expenses are to be covered by the participants. An accommodation will be arranged by the competition organizer , according to the information given in the application form. By the act of submitting a formal registration to the Secretariat of the Competition, the participants agree with the terms of the competition. ~ Competitors’ performances will be judged by a jury appointed according to the regulati- ons of the competititon. ~ The jury is composed of both Czech and foreign interprets and pedagogues. ~ e jury is entitled to award the first to the third prize, or a recognition award. ~ After the contest closure the jury will announce the „Laureate of the 8th International Guitar Competition Zruč nad Sázavou 2020“. ~ It is the jury’s right to award the following recognitions: ~ The best interpreter of a Czech compositionprize ~ The youngest competitorprize ~ The jury’s decision is final and irrevocable. ~ The competitor with the highest score will be awarded „The Laureate of the International Guitar Competition Zruč nad Sázavou 2020“ title. ~ The winners, as well as other awarded competitors, will receive their rizes during final festive ceremony. ~ The number of participants may be limited for reasons of time.
