1. GRID INTERACTIVE (50 KW) DRAWING NO.-PDC-1/14
SPV MODULE 1. The photovoltaic modules should be Mono / Poly
Crystalline with a total array capacity of 50.0 KW. Capacity of each module is 250 Wp/24 Volt.
Number of modules required: 200.
2. The Photovoltaic modules must be qualified as per IEC 61215 (revised) / IS 14286 standards and in addition, the modules must conform to IEC 61730-1 requirements for construction & Part-2 requirements for testing, for safety qualification. It should also confirm IEC 61701-Salt mist Test.
3. The PV modules must be tested and approved from any of the NABL/MNRE Accredited Testing Calibration laboratories.
4. The supplier shall provide performance Guarantee for the PV
ENERGY METER: The supplier shall provided the Energy meter with the system to know the units consumed from the system (export & import).
Remote access facility via telephone network PCU Specification: (1 + ONE STAND BY) 2 NOS.
PV modules used in solar power plants/ systems must be warranted
for their output peak watt capacity, which should notbe less than 90%
at the end of 10 years and 80% at the end of 20 years.
IDENTIFICATION AND TRACEABILITY
Each PV module used in any solar power project must use a RF
identification tag (RFID), which must contain the following
information. The RFID can be inside laminate, but must be able to
withstand harshenvironmental conditions.
(i)Name of the manufacturer of PV Module.
(ii)Name of the manufacturer of Solar cells.
(iii)Month and year of the manufacture (separately for solar cells and
module).
(iv)Country of origin (separately for solar cells and module).
(v)I-V curve for the module.
(vi)Peak Wattage, Im, Vm and FF for the module.
(vii)Unique serial No and Model No of the module.
(viii)Date and year of obtaining IEC PV module qualification certificate.
(ix)Name of the test lab issuing IEC certificate.
SPV panels must be warranted against any manufacturing/ design for
a minimum period of 5 years.

Junction Boxes:
The junction boxes shall be dust and water proof and
made of thermoplastic the terminals will be connected
to copper lugs of bus-bar of proper sizes. The junction
boxes will have suitable cable entry points fitted with
the cables. Suitable markings shall be provided on the
lugs or bus-bars for easy identification at cable ferrules
will be fitted at the cable terminations points for
identification. Each main junction box shall be fitted with
appropriate rating reverse blocking diode. The junction

Structure for module frame:
Modules shall be mounted in supporting structure made out of
galvanized MS angle of required structural strength. (Hot
dip/galvanized) either on the roof top or at ground as per site
requirement.
Structure:
1. The size of M.S (Galvanized) angle should be 50 x 50 x 6
mm. The structures are to be fitted on the structure
south faced. It should withstand wind speed up to 120
Km/hour.
2. Foundation – The legs of the structure made with hot
dip GI angles will be fixed and grouted in the RCC
foundation columns of size 300mm x 300mm made with
1:2:4 cement concrete. The minimum ground clearance
from the lowest part of any module shall be 500 MM.

System Working Solar Grid Hybrid System is to be designed to operate loads and charge
battery bank through
solar power and grid power as the case may be. Hybrid power pack is
to be designed with energy management system for continue
operation of loads and maintain the battery bank in charged condition
in all feasible circumstance. First preference for both- load and battery
charging is always from solar for maximum utilization of Solar Power.
Solar system working priority should be Solar>Grid>Battery.
As this solar system is also connected to computers, PCU should be
online type where there would be no interruption in power supply to
computers.

construction, commissioning and delivery of vessels for the
successful bidder in any two of the last five (5) Financial Years
i.e. 2008-09 to 2012-13 shall be of amount 98.00 Million INR or
an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency.
b) Experience and Technical Capacity:
Post Qualification Requirements (ITB 38.2)

plant for the successful bidder in any two of the last five (5)

demonstrate that it meets the following experience
