PRE-BID QUESTIONS:
A2-25 Question:
There are Louvers tagged L1 thru L4 shown on Elevations but there are no sizes, please verify the
Louver sizes or provide louver schedule.
Response:
See schedule attached to this addendum
A2-26 Question:
Structural Sheet S1.3.1.5 lists the CUP and adjacent Service building as premanufactured metal
buildings. The elevations for these areas on sheet A2.03 list them as EIFS exterior but the details for the
pre-engineered metal building on sheet A5.04 designate them as metal panel exterior. Please confirm
that the exterior wall cladding for the CUP and adjacent service building are Metal Panel.
Response:
In general the CUP walls are EIFS on the East and North and are metal panel elsewhere. Please refer to
the architectural wall sections for a detailed description of the construction of the walls per building
elevation.
A2-27 Question:
Please reference drawing S1.3.1.1, with attention to the spread footing along 1-30 between 1-BB and 1-
DD. After referencing 6/S2.03 and detail H/S0.12, the width of the footing is 6’-6”, however, the scaled
width of the footing is 4’. Please confirm the width as 6’-6”. This similar condition occurs at multiple
free standing CMU wall locations at outdoor recreation areas.
Response:
Contractor shall refer to General Note #9 on Sheet S0.01. Drawings shall not be scaled. Footing widths at
freestanding wall shall be per detail H/S0.12 unless noted otherwise on plan.

A2-28 Question:
Please reference drawing S1.3.1.1, with attention to the spread footing along 1-A between 1-B and 1-DD.
The footing appears to be stepped, presumably down 8” (T.O. Footing -2’-0) to allow storm drain piping
(reference P1.4.0.11) to penetrate the CMU wall in lieu of the footing. Please confirm the typical 8” step
down or provide the top of footing elevation. This similar condition occurs at multiple free standing
CMU wall locations at outdoor recreation areas as well as other locations along the perimeter such as
along 1.2 between 1-B.3 and 1-C.
Response:
Yes, typical 8” step downs should be employed to allow for the passage of utilities. Confirm each
plumbing invert to achieve clearance without conflict. Steps shall not exceed 18”
A2-29 Question:
Please reference drawing S1.3.1.1, with attention to the spread footing along 1-4 between the F9 and F11
footings. As no footing width was provided, the default width of 2’-0” is assumed per C/S5.01, however,
the scaled width of the footing is 3’. Please confirm the footing width as 2’-0” per C/S5.01.
Response:
Contractor shall provide 2’ -0” Minimum footing width per C/S5.01, Unless Noted Otherwise.
A2-30 Question:
Reference drawings S1.3.1.1 & S1.3.1.2, as no wall elevations were provided, please confirm the CMU
wall height (from top of footing) is 20’-8 for the free standing CMU walls at the following locations:
a. Along 1-GG between 1-40 & 1-D
b. Along 3-5 between 1-4 & 1-H
c. Along 1-CC between 1-C.9 & 1-H
d. Along 2-C between 2-2 & 2-3
Response:
Architectural and Structural drawings are complimentary. Typical wall sections and dimensions for these
walls are provided within the Architectural series.
A2-31 Question:
Refer to drawings S1.3.1.1, S1.3.1.2 and section Q/S5.01, please provide the footing depth for the footing
along 1-H west of 3-5 and the similar condition east of 1-CC.
Response:
Detail “Q” S5.01 references details “C” and “D” on the same sheet that give the typical dimensions.
A2-32 Question:
Please reference the Outdoor Recreation areas on drawings S1.3.1.1, S1.3.1.2 & S1.3.1.3, please provide
footing dimensions for the L-shaped beams that appear to surround the outdoor rec toilets.
Response:
Footings below non-structural partitions at recreation yards shall be per detail L/S0.12
