DESCRIPTION
The Wooster Police Department will be hosting the second annual Bicycle Rodeo at the Wayne County Justice Center Parking Lot, located at 201 W. North Street, Wooster on Saturday, June 1st from 1-4pm for local children in 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th grade. Participants can arrive at anytime! Better yet, Main Street Wooster's Kid's Day will be happening just down the street!The Bicycle Rodeo, funded by Safe Routes to School, is a bicycle safety clinic featuring safety inspections and instructional lessons on the rules of the road taught by Wooster City Police officers. A course will be set up in the parking lot where participants are shown where and how to apply the rules.Registration is FREE, forms are available at www.woosteroh.com or at the event. Concessions will be available and each participant will receive a FREE bicycle helmet, bicycle lock, event t-shirt, water bottle and lunch.Four youth sized bicycles will be raffled off to participants, courtesy of Wooster Kiwanis Club & Haudenschild Insurance.
