CREATEDGod is a creator, and as people made in Gods image we are blessed

with a capacity to create as well. We want our interaction with God

and our participation in Gods mission of love, peace and justice to be

characterized by creativity. We want to dream up and experience new

ways of understanding Gods grace and healing work in our

communities. We want to put our gifts, talents and abilities to work.

We colour outside the lines. We create music that help us connect

with God, try out new ways of meeting needs and serving our

neighbours, and make art that shows Gods presence in our lives. We

want to be inventive teachers, engineers, students and parents. We

want everything we do to bear the mark of the creator.

MOVEDWe begin as babes, both physically and spiritually, but we are not

intended to remain that way. Movement is a necessary part of our

lives as we grow on every level, and this includes the life of faith. Wewant to be a community of people who are committed to movement.

We are aware that emotional and spiritual growth is often a painful

process, so we will do our best to support and encourage one another

along the way. We are not only open to change, we dive in and

embrace it. We are convinced that God moves among us and in our

communities and our world. We are committed to listening forGods

voice and following Gods leading as we are encouraged, corrected,

directed, and loved toward greater maturity.

    When I was a child, I spoke

    and thought and reasoned as

a child. But when I grew up, Iput away childish things. Now

we see things imperfectly as in

a cloudy mirror, but then we

    will see everything with perfect

clarity. All that I know now is

    partial and incomplete, but

    then I will know everything

    completely, just as God now

    knows me completely.

I am the Real Vine and my Father is the Farmer. He cuts off every

branch of me that doesn't bear grapes. And every branch that is

grape-bearing he prunes back so it will bear even more. You are

already pruned back by the message I have spoken. Live in me.

Make your home in me just as I do in you. In the same way that a

branch can't bear grapes by itself but only by being joined to the vine,

you can't bear fruit unless you are joined with me.

    Gods creativity starts to

shines the most in us the

    more we move in him

    For in him we live

    and move

    and have our being.

    And now, just as you

    accepted Christ Jesus as

your Lord, you mustcontinue to follow him.

    Let your roots grow down

into him, and let your lives

be built on him. Then your

faith will grow strong in the

    truth you were taught, and

    you will overflow with

    thankfulness.

    Dear Jesus

I ask that you give us wise minds and

spirits attuned to your will, so that we canacquire a thorough understanding of the

ways in which you work. I pray that we'll

live well for you, making you proud of us

as we work hard in your orchard. As we

learn more and more about how you

work, may we learn how to do our part.I pray that we'll have the strength to stick

it out over the long haulnot the grim

strength of gritting our teeth but the

glory-strength you give. A strength that

endures the unendurable and spills overinto joy, thanking you who makes us

strong enough to take part in everything

bright and beautiful that you have for us.

In Jesus name I pray AMENc/o Colossians 1:9-12 (MSG)
