PUBLICACIONES Y ARTÍCULOS EN LÍNEA Reconstrucción de los eventos eruptivos de hace ~28 y ~13 KA asociados al emplazamiento de flujos de Bloques y ceniza en el Volcán Nevado de Toluca (México). Tesis presentada por Marco D’Antonio para la obtención del grado académico de Doctor en Ciencias (Vulcanología), 2008. En su resumen habla de que el Volcán de Toluca es un Volcán activo en estado de quietud y que se caracteriza por una etapa efusiva inicial de entre 2.6 y 1.09 ma., y de por lo menos otros cinco eventos que destruyeron el domo. Determinó que el domo fue un proceso rápido y que la destrucción tiene una componente explosiva y concluye que en el futuro esto representa un peligro para las poblaciones aledañas. Este pequeño artículo combina la geología con la biología y algunos Geólogos están de acuerdo en una nueva teoría donde se dice que la tierra prehistórica fue encerrada en un congelador durante el Precámbrico hace aproximadamente entre unos 600 y 750 millones de años. ACCESAR AL ARTÍCULO Paired microbes eliminate methane using sulfur pathway: Este artículo concluye que los microbios anaerobios en los océanos, consumen el 90 por ciento del metano producido por los hidratos de metano (metano atrapado en el hielo), con esto dichos microbios prevén que grandes cantidades de metano lleguen a la atmósfera.
