This church period represent the

second half of the “Dark Ages” from 1000-1500 A. D

Remember, the name of each of the churches is directly correlated with God’s view point of that time period The name “Sardis” means red ones God’s view point of this church age during the darkest time to ever hit the earth through massive persecution and blood shed of bible believers was the “red ones”

During the Dark Ages the

Catholic Church slaughtered millions of Christians, and this atrocity is never mentioned today! The world has almost completely forgotten the many millions of people who were burned at the stake by the papacy because they wanted to worship God according to the Bible.Karl Marx- “If you can separate people from their history, you can convince them of anything.”

(Rev 17:6) And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered

with great admiration.

Remember every time the lord

address one of these Churches, he reminds them of a characteristic of himself that John saw in Chapter 1

That characteristic is the main point of him that those churches need during that time period

Page 20: Biblical Church History

(Rev 1:4) John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace,

from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which

are before his throne;

Page 21: Biblical Church History

(Rev 4:5) And out of the throne proceeded

lightnings and thunderings and

voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the

seven Spirits of God.

Page 22: Biblical Church History

(Rev 5:6) And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the

throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb

as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God

sent forth into all the earth.

Page 23: Biblical Church History

So what are

the 7 Spirits of

God?

Page 24: Biblical Church History

(Zec 4:10) For who hath despised the day of small

things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the LORD,

which run to and fro through the whole

earth.

Page 25: Biblical Church History

(2Ch 16:9) For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself

strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect

toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly:

therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.

Page 26: Biblical Church History

SARDI s

The reason God Has mention his

eyes in both the Thyatira and Sardis periods is because these two periods represent the Dark Ages that was absolutely dominated by the Catholic Church.

The reason his eyes are as lamps is not just to see them and the blasphemy that are performing, but so that the bible believers could see Him

Page 27: Biblical Church History

(Gen 6:8) But Noah found grace in the eyes of the

LORD.

Page 28: Biblical Church History

(Psa 32:7-8) Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt

preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me

about with songs of deliverance. Selah. I will instruct thee and teach

thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee

with mine eye.

They had the name of Christ but

there is no life in them.

They had the right fundamental doctrines (Apostle’s Creed)

Page 33: Biblical Church History

SARDI s

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, the Maker of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord: Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried. He descended into hell. The third day He arose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen.

(Rev 17:6-7) And I saw the woman drunken with the blood

of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus:

and when I saw her, I wondered with great

admiration. And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of

the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads

and ten horns.

SARDI s

During the time period, Bible

believers that believed just like you and I were martyred by the Catholic church for not acknowledging the authority of the Pope, for not recognizing the Catholic baptism and for not accepting the Lord’s supper as the literal blood and body of Christ.

Page 36: Biblical Church History

Men and women were placed naked on a hot grill until they denied

their beliefs and accepted the Catholic doctrine. The whole time that this was

being performed, a Catholic priest would

stand there waiting so he could convert you to the Roman Catholic Church.

Page 37: Biblical Church History

Men and women were taken in caves, hung

upside down with a bag placed on their heads

with starving rats placed inside that would eat

their ears and lips and eyes while a Catholic

priest stood there waiting to convert their

souls.

Page 38: Biblical Church History

Men and women had their mouths filled with gun powder,

while people would light torches and walk toward them to get them to convert, while a

Catholic priest was waiting.Men and women had their

fingers chopped off 1 inch at a time until they recanted the belief and acknowledged the Pope as the Vicar of Christ.

Page 39: Biblical Church History

October 23, 1641, 150 thousand Bible believers were murdered by the RCC and metals were handed out for the killings of “Heretics”

Moms and Dads have their houses invaded in the middle of the night. And are persuaded to

recant their belief and if they don’t the last thing they see

before they die is the children being carried away by the Nuns

to the Monastery.

Page 40: Biblical Church History

Moms and Dads and their children being brought to a field of staring pigs. The

parents are tied to a tree and told to recant their beliefs

and if they don’t their children are thrown in one by one and are devoured before their eyes, while the children are screaming for help from

their parents
