Leader’s Talk: God has helped Moses and all the Israelites leave the slavery of Egypt. God had beenwatching the Israelites (Ex. 3: 7-9) and knew they must leave but they needed someone to lead. His planfor deliverance had begun when Moses was taken to the palace for his education. Then Moses learnedhow to love and protect others as he cared for his family and the sheep in Midian. Now Moses wasprepared and equipped to be a good leader of his people. God had been in control with His plan. Readthe Memory Text together. This verse from the Bible is for us. God has a plan and He will guide usthrough the good times and the bad times. God may put us in situations where we will learn somethingwhich will help work out that plan. He will always give us all we need to follow his way too. God knows theway we should go and He will travel with us.After this incident the Israelites spent a long time getting from the Promised Land as they “forgot” to followGod’s ways and did not trust Him. Moses received the Ten Commandments from God to help guide themin their lives and help them live in a way pleasing to God. (See the sheet of Exodus 20 from the BibleMemorisation section.)Are you like Moses?: ready to listen to God; prepared to work for Him and trust Him for your future. God iswaiting to walk with you through your life. Ask Him to be your leader.
