Bible Prophecy and Islam Although it seems like Daniel, Ezekiel and Revelation are hard to understand, when we know much of it is about Islam it gives us a much clearer message Jesus Christ ascended into Heaven sometime after his resurrection from the dead. 12 I watched as he opened the sixth seal. There was a great earthquake. The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red, 13 and the stars in the sky fell to earth, as figs drop from a fig tree when shaken by a strong wind. 14 The heavens receded like a scroll being rolled up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place.

There was an earthquake, or judgment, and a final battle in Heaven with Satan and his angels. Satan was defeated and fell to earth to deceive and attack Christian believers. We’re also told Satan was angry because he knew his time was short. We receive a similar message in Revelation 12. The woman is Israel and the dragon is Satan. Revelation 12 (NIV)

1 A great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head. 2 She was pregnant and cried out in pain as she was about to give birth. 3 Then another sign appeared in heaven: an enormous red dragon with seven heads and ten horns and seven crowns on its heads. 4 Its tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky and flung them to the earth. The dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth, so that it might devour her child the moment he was born. 5 She gave birth to a son, a male child, who “will rule all the nations with an iron scepter.” And her child was snatched up to God and to his throne. 6 The woman fled into the wilderness to a place prepared for her by God, where she might be taken care of for 1,260 days. 7 Then war broke out in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back. 8 But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven. 9 The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.

Again, something important falls to earth several times in Revelation chapter 8, and one third of important objects are destroyed: Revelation 8 (NIV)

7 The first angel sounded his trumpet, and there came hail and fire mixed with blood, and it was hurled down on the earth. A third of the earth was burned up, a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green grass was burned up. 8 The second angel sounded his trumpet, and something like a huge mountain, all ablaze, was thrown into the sea. A third of the sea turned into

blood, 9 a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed. 10 The third angel sounded his trumpet, and a great star, blazing like a torch, fell from the sky on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water— 11 the name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters turned bitter, and many people died from the waters that had become bitter. 12 The fourth angel sounded his trumpet, and a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them turned dark. A third of the day was without light, and also a third of the night.

Understanding the Hail of Revelation Hail is mentioned three times in Revelation. Hail is first described as mixed with fire and blood in Revelation 8, and the final hail is described as huge in size and weight (100 pounds). The second hail in Revelation 16 falls during the third Islamic woe on the remaining people on earth that had the mark of the beast, after the rapture. The large hail falls at the time of the second return of Christ (“It is done.”) A severe hailstorm is also mentioned in Revelation 11.

Revelation 8 (NIV)

7 The first angel sounded his trumpet, and there came hail and fire mixed with blood, and it was hurled down on the earth. A third of the earth was burned up, a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green grass was burned up.

Revelation 11 (NIV)

19 Then God’s temple in heaven was opened, and within his temple was seen the ark of his covenant. And there came flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, an earthquake and a severe hailstorm.

Revelation 16 (NIV)

17 The seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and out of the temple came a loud voice from the throne, saying, “It is done!” 18 Then there came flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder and a severe earthquake. No earthquake like it has ever occurred since mankind has been on earth, so tremendous was the quake. 19 The great city split into three parts, and the cities of the nations collapsed. God remembered Babylon the Great and gave her the cup filled with the wine of the fury of his wrath. 20 Every island fled away and the mountains could not be found. 21 From the sky huge hailstones, each weighing about a hundred pounds, fell on people. And they cursed God on account of the plague of hail, because the plague was so terrible.

Some have interpreted the hail as a literal hailstorm, and certainly God could produce physical icy hail mixed with fire and blood, or physical hail weighing 100 pounds. But the more likely explanation is that the hail represents angels, both fallen satanic angels and good and more powerful heavenly angels aligned with Christ. The first hail in Revelation 8, mixed with fire and blood, represents the fallen satanic angels thrown down to earth as Satan (the blazing mountain, falling blazing star) fell to earth and convinced Mohammad in 610 that Jesus Christ was not the Messiah. The larger and more powerful hail that weighs 100 pounds occurs at the very end of the third and final woe. This occurs as the seventh and final bowel of wrath is poured out on the earth, and is at the same time of Christ returns to stop the second Islamic invasion of Israel and

Jerusalem led by the Babylon-Persian kingdom. This larger and more powerful hail falls on the non-believers left on earth, and the hail represents the good and more powerful angels of Christ. The two invasions will only occur after the Jewish remnant returns to Israel (in 1948), and they have prospered, and live in peace. Persia will lead this invasion, along with other Islamic countries such as Put, which is Libya today, and Cush which is the Arabian peninsula today. The Islamic Man of Lawlessness will lead the first invasion and be killed. “Gog” the chief prince of Meshek and Tubal is the Islamic Man of Lawlessness, and the “northern nations” include Turkey, Iraq and Syria. Beth Togarmah is in modern Turkey today. But when did this occur? This may have occurred before or around the year 610 in Mecca as Mohammad saw a vision of someone who claimed to be the Angel Gabriel.

The Angel Gabriel, who was actually Satan the deceiver, convinced Mohammad that the Gospels were corrupted because Jesus Christ was not the risen Messiah and not the Son of God, but rather just a prophet. Thus Islam was created in the year 610. Islam exists only to deny Jesus Christ as Savior. We know the fake Angel Gabriel was Satan because Mohammad said every time he had a vision "he felt like his soul was being torn from his chest." This could only be from Satan himself. It wouldn’t make sense that the same Angel Gabriel who told Mary she would give birth of the Messiah would now tell Mohammad this wasn’t true. Revelation chapter 8 says after this star falls to earth a third of the trees, a third of the ships and one third of the ocean are destroyed by this falling star. After the Angel Gabriel gave Mohammad this message, he and his followers quickly destroyed over 20,000 Christian churches in the first jihad. The first Islamic jihad between 610 and 762 destroyed almost all of Christianity in the Middle East. The 20,000 churches that were destroyed represented one third of all Christian churches in the world at the time. The five months, or 152 days, in Revelation 8 represents the first jihad that lasted 152 years. Islamic groups continue to destroy Christian churches to this very day.

Who was Mohammad? Mohammad was born in 570 AD in Mecca in present-day Saudi Arabia. Mohammad was orphaned at an early age; he was raised under the care of his paternal uncle Abu Talib. After his childhood, Mohammad primarily worked as a merchant. Occasionally, he would retreat to a cave named Hira in the mountains for several nights of seclusion and prayer; later, at age 40, he reported being visited by the Angel Gabriel in the cave and thought he received his first revelation from God. Three years after this event Mohammad started preaching these revelations publicly, proclaiming that "God is One", "Jesus is not the Son of God" and that complete "surrender" (Islam means surrender) to him is the only way acceptable to God, and that he was a prophet and the final messenger of God, similar to the other prophets in Islam. Mohammad gained few early followers, and met hostility from some Meccan tribes. To escape persecution, Mohammad sent some followers to Abyssinia before he and his followers migrated from Mecca to Medina in the year 622. This event, the Hijra, marks the beginning of the Islamic calendar, also known as the Hijri Calendar. In Medina, Mohammad united the tribes under the Constitution of Medina. In December 629, after eight years of intermittent conflict with Meccan tribes, Mohammad gathered an army of 10,000 Muslim converts and marched on the city of Mecca. The attack went largely uncontested and Mohammad seized the city with little bloodshed. In 632, a few months after returning from the Farewell Pilgrimage, Mohammad fell ill and died. Before his death, most of the Arabian Peninsula had converted to Islam. Daniel Tells Us the Fourth Kingdom Will be a Divided Kingdom. The differences between the Sunni and Shiite sects are rooted in disagreements over the succession to the Prophet Muhammad, who died in 632 AD, and over the nature of the leadership the Muslim community should have. The historic debate centered on whether to award leadership to a qualified, pious individual who would follow the customs of the Prophet, or to transmit leadership exclusively through the Prophet’s bloodline. The question was settled initially when community leaders elected Abu Bakr, a companion of the Prophet, to become the first Caliph (Arabic for “successor”). Abū Bakr ʿAbdallāh bin Abī Quhāfa as-Siddīq (و ر أب دع بك هللا ب ن ي ب ة أب دیق قحاف – 573 ,(الص634, popularly known as Abu Bakr (و ر أب was a senior companion (Sahabi) and—through ,(بكhis daughter Aisha—the father-in-law of the Islamic prophet Muhammad. Abu Bakr became the first openly declared Muslim outside Muhammad's family.

Daniel 2 (NIV)

40 Finally, there will be a fourth kingdom, strong as iron—for iron breaks and smashes everything—and as iron breaks things to pieces, so it will crush and break all the others. 41 Just as you saw that the feet and toes were partly of baked clay and partly of iron, so this will be a divided kingdom; yet it will have some of the strength of iron in it, even as you saw iron mixed with clay. 42 As the toes were partly iron and partly clay, so this kingdom will be partly strong and partly brittle. 43 And just as you saw the iron mixed with baked clay, so the people will be a mixture and will not remain united, any more than iron mixes with clay. 44 “In the time of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will it be left to another people. It will crush all those kingdoms and bring them to an end, but it will itself endure forever. 45 This is the meaning of the vision of the rock cut out of a mountain, but not by human hands—a rock that broke the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver and the gold to pieces.

Abu Bakr served as a trusted advisor to Mohammad. During Mohammad's lifetime, he was involved in several campaigns and treaties. This situation was unacceptable to some of Ali’s followers, who considered Abu Bakr and the next two succeeding caliphs (Umar and Uthman) to be illegitimate. Ali’s followers believed that the Prophet Mohammad himself had named Ali as successor and that the status quo was a violation of divine order. A few of Ali’s partisans orchestrated the murder of the third Caliph Uthman in 656 AD, and then Ali was named Caliph. Ali, in turn, was assassinated in 661 AD, and his son Hussein (680 AD) died in battle against forces of the Sunni caliph. Ali’s eldest son Hassan (d. 670 AD) is also revered by Shiite Muslims, some of whom claim he was poisoned by the Sunni caliph Muawiyah. Those who supported Ali’s ascendancy became later known as “Shi’a,” a word stemming from the term “shi’at Ali,” meaning “supporters” or “helpers of Ali.” Others respected and accepted the legitimacy of his caliphate but opposed political succession based on bloodline to the Prophet. This group, who constituted the majority of Muslims, came to be known in time as “Sunni,” meaning “followers of the Prophet’s customs. The Sunni branch believes that the first four caliphs--Mohammed's successors--rightfully took his place as the leaders of Muslims. They recognize the heirs of the four caliphs as legitimate religious leaders. These heirs ruled continuously in the Arab world until the break-up of the Ottoman Empire following the end of the First World War. Today the Sunnis and Shias agree on the core fundamentals of Islam -- the Five Pillars -- and recognize each other as Muslims. The 'Five Pillars' of Islam are the foundation of Muslim life: • Faith or belief in the Oneness of Allah and the finality of the prophet Mohammad; • Establishment of the daily prayers; • Concern for and almsgiving to the needy; • Self-purification through fasting; and • The pilgrimage to Makkah for those who are able. However, there remain significant differences between the two divisions of Islam. Many Sunnis would contend that Shias seem to take the fundamentals of Islam very much for granted, shunting them into the background and dwelling on the martyrdoms of Ali and Hussein. It is alleged that instead of missionary work to non-Muslims, the Shia harbor a deep-seated disdain towards Sunni Islam and prefer to devote their attention to winning over other Muslims to their group.

The Man of Lawlessness Is Muslim with a False “Jesus” at His Side Paul says in 2nd Thessalonians the Man of Lawlessness must be reveled before Christ's return: 2nd Thessalonians 2 (NIV)

1 Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him, we ask you, brothers and sisters, 2 not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by the teaching allegedly from us—whether by a prophecy or by word of mouth or by letter—asserting that the day of the Lord has already come. 3 Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. 4 He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God.

Some experts believe this Bible passage precludes a Muslim as the Man of Lawlessness (or “Antichrist”). The idea is no Muslim human would elevate himself to the level of Allah. Of course, when the 12th Imam has more than 2 billion followers, anything is possible. Mark Hitchcock (ISIS, Iran, Israel: And the End of Days (pp. 112-113). Harvest House Publishers 2016) writes: “Second Thess. 2: 4 makes it clear that the Antichrist will take his seat in the temple of God, which is a reference to a rebuilt or third Jewish temple in Jerusalem, and will declare that he is god. No practicing Muslim could ever do this. Certainly the Islamic Mahdi couldn’t. This would violate the central tenet of Islam that there is one God, who is Allah. If the Mahdi were to declare himself god, then he would no longer be a follower of Islam.” David Reagan (Lamb and Lion Ministries) writes: “There is a limit to deception. A person would have to cease being a Muslim in order to believe that any man could be God. I believe the behavior of the Antichrist described in 2 Thess. 2:3-4, where it states that he will proclaim himself to be God, rules out any possibility that the Antichrist might prove to be a Muslim.” No Muslim human could proclaim to be God. Thus the final Islamic leader will demonically appear to be "Allah" so that Muslims will see him as God, although it is actually Satan. Ezekiel 39 makes clear Gog (the Mahdi) is killed in the first Israel invasion. Satan can deceive and make it appear the Mahdi's superior (Allah) takes over next in some spiritual form ("the head's fatal wound that was healed"). If Muslims believe this entity to be "Allah" they will seem to be unstoppable. All Muslims would follow Allah's command to invade Israel a second time.

Page 14: Bible Prophecy and Islam - [Revelation-Now]after eight years of intermittent conflict with Meccan tribes, Mohammad gathered an army of 10,000 Muslim converts and marched on the city

Shia Islam believes TWO people will appear together in the end times. The 12th Imam will appear with a person claiming to be “Jesus.”

“When Imam Zaman [‘Mahdi,’ the last Shiite Imam] comes, he will behead the Western leaders,” warned Ayatollah Mohammad Emami Kashani, the interim Friday prayer leader of Tehran and a member of the Assembly of Experts, the body that chooses the supreme leader. “However, Imam will not harm the oppressed nations,” he said.

The Shiite clerical establishment in Iran believes that at the end of times, the 12th Imam, Mahdi, a ninth century prophet, “will reappear with Jesus at his side”, kill all the infidels and raise the flag of Islam in all four corners of the world. When Gog (the Mahdi) is killed in the first Israel invasion Satan can then make it appear that Allah has returned. This would be the ultimate beast. They would next invade Jerusalem.

Iranian President Ahmadinejad Tells United Nations that the “Ultimate Savior” and Jesus Are Coming Shia Muslims believe Mohammad prophesied about several events that will occur just before the advent of the Day of Judgment. Among these, the 12th Imam, or Mahdi (the guided one), will materialize when the Muslim believers are severely oppressed in the world. “He will fight the Zionist oppressors, unite the Muslims, bring peace and justice to the world, rule over the Arabs, and lead a prayer in Mecca at which Isa (Jesus) will be present.” So when we understand there will be TWO people standing together, we can see that Paul’s prophecy is likely talking about the Man of Lawlessness (the 12th Imam) along with a lessor person claiming to be a prophet “Jesus” next to him. The 12th Imam exalts himself above the false Jesus. Finally, when Gog (the Mahdi) is killed in the first invasion of Israel in Ezekiel 39, Satan can then directly make it appear that "Allah" has returned. This will be the ultimate beast. 2nd Thessalonians 2 (NIV)

9 The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie, 10 and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. 11 For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie 12 and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.

Verse 4-“He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God” means the Man of Lawlessness will be a falsely appear to be a grand leader over a lessor person called “Jesus”—not the real one of course. This is a delusion. This is what Paul means by “exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped.” Verse 11- It will be a “powerful delusion”, and “they will believe the lie.” Satan will then fully deceive by making Muslims think he is Allah and is worshiped.

Islamic Belief About Jesus The Koran firmly denies Jesus Christ ("Isa") as God’s Son 17 times. Nevertheless, all Muslims believe in "Isa—Mary's son, a prophet and messenger of Allah." They accept his birth by the Virgin Mary, created through God’s Word alone. Thus, the Muslim considers Jesus to be created by God, but never conceived by Him. Jesus is only a prophet. Through this attitude, Muslims oppose the Nicenic statement of faith of all churches in many respects. Mohammad’s followers deny every aspect that Jesus is God, but they believe that: Jesus performed miracles of healing,

Jesus raised three people from the dead by His words,

Jesus miraculously fed His followers,

Jesus further developed Moses’ law

Jesus can renew His followers in humility and mercy, and

Jesus ascended to heaven and is currently dwelling close to God.

Yet, they strictly deny that Jesus is God’s Son and that He was crucified. They believe he will appear in the end times beside the Mahdi. Muslims separate themselves from salvation, which has been completed for them. They dismiss the forgiveness of all their sins on Judgment Day, hoping to achieve it through their own righteousness without the One who died on the cross. The words “salvation” and “Savior” never appear in the Koran; they do not fit into the Muslim’s way of thinking. No Muslim knows if they are saved or not. Even Mohammad did not know if he was saved. The only certain way to be saved in Islam is to die in Jihad. Early Islamic Leaders The Umayyad Caliphate ran from 661–750, and In 750, the Umayyad dynasty was overthrown by another family of Meccan origin, the Abbasids. After the fall of the Umayyads, the first Muslim dynasty, the victorious Abbasid rulers wanted their own capital to rule from. Choosing a site north of the Sassanid capital of Ctesiphon (and also just north of where ancient Babylon once stood), on 30 July 762, the caliph Al-Mansur commissioned the construction of the city, and it was built under the supervision of the Barmakids. Mansur believed that Baghdad was the perfect city to be the capital of the Islamic empire under the Abbasids.

Important Dates in Islamic Conquest in the First Jihad 610-762 (The First Woe) 610 AD-- The Angel Gabriel visits Mohammad 632 AD – Islamic Jihadists conquered Yemen. 632 AD – Invasion of Abyssinia (Ethiopia) but the invading Islamic army was repelled by the orthodox church backed by the Portuguese. This was a particularly disgraceful event, because just seventeen years earlier, Abyssinia had helped the persecuted Moslems. 633 AD – All the desert tribes of Arabia were thoroughly subdued through military campaigns. 635 AD – The attacking Islamic army conquered Damascus. 637 AD – The Persians (Iranians) were defeated at the battle of Qadisiyya. 637 AD – The fall of Iraq 638 AD – Islamic fighters occupied Jerusalem. 639 AD – All of Syria fell into Moslem hands. 642 AD – All of Egypt fell to Moslems after some resistance in Alexandria. The great Coptic church was destroyed never to get strong again. 670 AD – Khalif Muawiya ordered an unsuccessful sea assault against Byzantium. 688 AD – The fall of Carthage. 702 AD – The Berber tribes of North Africa conquered. 705 - 708 AD – Occupation of North Africa. 711-713 AD – Arabian expansionists captured all of Spain and Portugal. The place the Islamic Commander pitched his headquarters still bears his name, Gibraltar, in English, or Jebel Tariq (Arabic), meaning mountain of Tariq. 715-717 AD – Arabian armies subdued Afghanistan, central Asia, northern limit of the Caspian sea, much of northern India. 718 AD – Islamic forces started attacking France. 725 AD – The invading Islamic armies besieged Toulouse and raided Burgundy and the Rhone valley. 732 AD – Bordeaux was besieged. The Islamic armies advanced up to Poitiers where they were defeated by Charles Martel. 762 AD-- New caliphate Islamic leaders (Abbasids) change focus to building the new city of Baghdad near the ancient location of Babylon In Revelation 9, John tells us the first woe lasts 5 months. Revelation 9 (NIV)

1 The fifth angel sounded his trumpet, and I saw a star that had fallen from the sky to the earth. The star was given the key to the shaft of the Abyss. 2 When he opened the Abyss, smoke rose from it like the smoke from a gigantic furnace. The sun and sky were darkened by the smoke from the Abyss.

Page 18: Bible Prophecy and Islam - [Revelation-Now]after eight years of intermittent conflict with Meccan tribes, Mohammad gathered an army of 10,000 Muslim converts and marched on the city

3 And out of the smoke locusts came down on the earth and were given power like that of scorpions of the earth. 4 They were told not to harm the grass of the earth or any plant or tree, but only those people who did not have the seal of God on their foreheads. 5 They were not allowed to kill them but only to torture them for five months. And the agony they suffered was like that of the sting of a scorpion when it strikes. 6 During those days people will seek death but will not find it; they will long to die, but death will elude them.

Five months is symbolically 152 days or literally 152 years. This time period begins from the year 610 when Satan first appeared to Mohammad, until Islamic leaders stopped their conquests and focused their efforts on building a capital in the new city of Baghdad in 762. This site was picked to be very near the ancient location of Babylon itself. On the day of judgment all of those that have followed the false teaching of Islam will kneel in front of Christ. When they learn that they are going to be separated from God for all eternity they would rather just be dead. That is what revelation 9:6 means when it says: "during those days people will seek death but will not find it; they will long to die but death will elude them." A physical death is preferable to eternal separation from God.

Revelation 9 says locusts come out of dark smoke and have the power to sting like a scorpion. We are given the image of a horde of locusts streaming across the earth. The locust swarms are symbolic of the Islamic warriors streaming across the Christian lands. The dark smoke is the false doctrine of the Koran. This woe only hurts those who do not have the seal of God on the foreheads. This means the false doctrine of Islam only damages the souls of people who believe it and do not accept Christ. Those that believe in the Gospel cannot be harmed spiritually. In the Old Testament Zachariah tells us about this as well. Zechariah 11 (NIV)

16 For I am going to raise up a shepherd over the land who will not care for the lost, or seek the young, or heal the injured, or feed the healthy, but will eat the meat of the choice sheep, tearing off their hooves.

The Second Woe Revelation says the second woe involves satanic Angels that come from the river Euphrates--meaning the center of Islamic world. This woe will continue until one third of the world is killed, meaning by being Muslim and their souls are spiritually killed. The second woe is about the worldwide spread of Islam. The number of people is too large to count. Revelation tells us their power comes from their mouths-meaning Islamic false teachings and false doctrine. Revelation 9 (NIV)

12 The first woe is past; two other woes are yet to come. 13 The sixth angel sounded his trumpet, and I heard a voice coming from the four horns of the golden altar that is before God. 14 It said to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, “Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.” 15 And the four angels who had been kept ready for this very hour and day and month and year were released to kill a third of mankind. 16 The number of the mounted troops was twice ten thousand times ten thousand. body). The number of the mounted troops was twice ten thousand times ten thousand. The actual Greek literal translation is 2 times an incalculable number. The number of the Islamic hordes and current day Muslims lost to Satan are vast and cannot be counted. According to Pew Research the proportionate Islamic growth of the world's population is about +1.60% per decade. If current relative trend line growth rates continue, the 33.3% peak in the second woe is reached around the 2070-2075 time frame. Satan convinced Mohammed that, while the Gospels were correct when originally written, they became "corrupted" by the apostles. There is actually no evidence of this corruption. One way to help Muslims read absolutely "uncorrupted" scripture is to read the Dead Sea Scrolls. Since the Dead Sea Scrolls have been carbon dated the 100 to 300 years before Christ, they certainly would not be corrupted by the apostles. The Dead Sea Isaiah Scroll allows Muslims to begin their path towards salvation. They can read uncorrupted scripture that is older than Jesus. The Word of God in the Isaiah text Scripture found in the ancient Dead Sea Scroll tells us everything we need to know for salvation. We know that God gave us the gift of a sacrifice from his son Jesus Christ. God caused Jesus Christ to die for our sins and then raised him up from the dead. Because of the sacrifice all believe in Christ will have eternal presence with God. Those that reject Christ will be forever separated from God on the day of judgment.

“If the United Nations decides to amputate a part of Palestine in order to establish a Jewish state, Jewish blood will necessarily be shed elsewhere in the Islamic world… to place in certain and serious danger a million Jews.”

Introduction to the Prophecy Events Described in Revelation 11 The Islamic Dome of the Rock was constructed in the outer court of the Temple Mount during 687-691. It was designed to keep any non-Islamic religious structures (Jewish or Christian) from being built on the Temple Mount-particularly the third Jewish Temple. As a further insult, the Dome was built to be taller than the Church of the Holy Sepulchre which is located nearby, and is the traditional side of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Islamic leaders wanted the Dome of the Rock to be taller and cast a shadow upon the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. The Dome exterior contains an Islamic inscription which states: “God did not have a Son.” The Dome was designed to blaspheme the deity of Jesus Christ 24 hours a day since 688. The Dome can be viewed as an abomination that makes desolate the Holy Place, the Temple Mount. It is sitting where it does not belong. (Matthew 24:15-16 and Mark 13:14) Using the Dome of the Rock construction (687-691) as a marker in time in Revelation 11:1-2, gentiles trampled and controlled the Holy City until Jerusalem’s liberation in 1967. The 42 months of trampling (1278.4 days/years) mentioned in Revelation 11 stretches precisely from the midpoint of the Dome construction until Israeli troops liberated Jerusalem on June 7, 1967. Jews and Christians (the two olive trees and the two lampstands that stand before the Lord of the earth in Revelation 11:4) spoke the Word of God and prophesied exactly for 1260 days/years from 688 until 1948. In 1948 Jews were given back their rightful homeland God promised them when Israel declared independence on May 14, 1948. Just one day later, on May 15, 1948 six Islamic Beast countries attacked Israel. (“Now when they have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up from the Abyss will attack them”) The re-creation of the State of Israel on May 14, 1948 immediately placed all Jews in Islamic countries at great risk. During the next three years and one half years over one million Jews were trapped. Their citizenship was revoked. Some Jews were killed and all were terrorized. Their property was stolen from them by many Islamic governments. In Iraq alone nearly $100 billion, in today’s dollars, was taken from them. They left behind 2,000 square kilometers of land in Iraq. Islamic governments congratulated themselves and kept the wealth purportedly to reimburse Palestinians leaving Israel. But in most cases they kept the money and actually sent each other gifts. Iraq gave Iran $450,000 of confiscated Jewish money in 1950. In a fantastic series of miracles most of the Jews were able to "rise up to their feet" and leave the Islamic countries despite overwhelming odds. In Yemen (Operation Magic Carpet) 60,000 escaped by air. In Iraq alone more than 180,000 Jews flew out of the country in 1950-1951. Thus the Jews “went up to heaven in a cloud, while their enemies looked on.” This escape of the Jews and the creation of Israel both stunned and caused dissension-a true “earthquake” in the Islamic world. Just at the peak of the Operation Ezra Iraqi exodus, King Abdullah I of Jordan was assassinated by an Islamic Jihadist on the Temple Mount in July 1951.

We learn more about Islam in Revelation 13. The false prophet is Mohammad himself. The mark of the beast which can be on the forehead or hand is the Shahada. The Shahada says there is no God but Allah, meaning Jesus Christ is not the son of God, and Mohammad is the messenger. This is the message Satan wanted Mohammad to spread.

Revelation 13 tells us the false prophet sets up an image of the beast. The image of the beast was set up by Mohammad himself. This is the Islamic Kaaba Black stone in Mecca. It is the central part of the Islamic pilgrimage.
