Turn back to Genesis 1:1 in your own Bibles. Underline God in verse 1. In the margin, write
God exists (Disbelievers=atheists/Romans 1:18-21).
Take time during the week to develop your relationship with God through Bible study, prayer, meditation, and praise.
Digging During The WeekRead Psalm 19
One of the points in this week’s lesson is how nature reveals the existence of God. Psalm 19 echoes this idea. Consider the
questions below as you read.
1. In what ways do you see that “the heavens declare the glory of God”?
2. What interesting point does the writer make in verses 3 and 4 about the voice of nature?
3. What value does the writer find in the law of God? Why?
Meditate on verse 14. Perhaps memorize it for the day and practice making your words and thoughts pleasing to God. Pray a prayer of thanks for the ways God reveals Himself through His
creation.
What advantage would these people see in having gods made with their own hands?

Digging During The Week
Read Job 38:1-38
Another one of the points of this week’s lesson is how man foolishly makes his own false gods instead of worshipping the
one true and living God. Job 38 is part of the response of God to Job when Job questions God. God’s response could be applied
to those who say there is no God. Consider the questions below as you read.
1. What kinds of question does God ask about the creation of the world?
2. How does His use of questions show the reader their limited knowledge of the world?
3. What specific elements of nature does God indicate He has control over?
4. How does He let the reader know of His power?
Meditate on the vastness of God’s power and wisdom in creating the universe. Praise God for them in prayer.
