By nature, I am easily bored in a short period of time thus I look for new topics constantly to be engaged in. This attribute of mine will push me continuously to be creative which will be beneficial while conducting my research. Moreover, I want to involve myself into research in different areas of economic applications in business. Usually I am an emotional person and can't even think of living without my family, yet I am ready to do so for the sake of my studies. That is how serious I am about my studies. As a student I don't want to confine myself on the typical curriculum of business studies but also want to develop my leadership skill, interpersonal communication skills, engage myself into social activities, various sports and most importantly grow as a worthy child of this planet. Generally, I am not a risk taker and irresponsible thus I plan to be very sincere and consistent with my studies. I believe BI has everything to offer that can enrich me both as a scholar and a human being. I sincerely hope that I would be lucky enough to be a part of BI family soon.

Bachelor admission purpose date:

Motivational Letter

Being a business student in one of the best universities (North South University) in Bangladesh,

if I see myself going somewhere better, Norwegian business school would be my clear choice.

Studying in a good foreign school has always been a cherished dream for me. I wish to study

Bachelor of shipping management (BSM) at BI. Norway being a peaceful enriched country has

always attracted me a lot, giving me a hope of redemption from my existing condition. So far I

have experienced only one side of the coin being a citizen of a developing country but I need to

see and learn the other side as well where development has nourished and flourished. One of the

reasons behind choosing shipping management as concentration is the existing established

shipping industry of Norway. Being a giant in this industry Norway has a lot to offer. Eventually,

which will help me to serve the emerging shipping industry of Bangladesh. In addition, BI offers

some generous scholarships to international students for studying shipping management which is

another reason for choosing this particular program and institution. As a business student I don’t

want to restrict myself just to a BBA and MBA degree and then have a job at a MNC. Rather I

wish to pursue Master’s degree after my bachelors and ultimately a Ph.D. Within institutional

framework I guess this would be it but the learning process will continue till my last breath. By

nature, I am easily bored in a short period of time thus I look for new topics constantly to be

engaged in. This attribute of mine will push me continuously to be creative which will be

beneficial while conducting my research. Moreover, I want to involve myself into research in

different areas of economic applications in business. Usually I am an emotional person and can't

even think of living without my family, yet I am ready to do so for the sake of my studies. That

is how serious I am about my studies. As a student I don't want to confine myself on the typical

curriculum of business studies but also want to develop my leadership skill, interpersonal

communication skills, engage myself into social activities, various sports and most importantly

grow as a worthy child of this planet. Generally, I am not a risk taker and irresponsible thus I

plan to be very sincere and consistent with my studies. I believe BI has everything to offer that

can enrich me both as a scholar and a human being. I sincerely hope that I would be lucky

enough to be a part of BI family soon.

Scholarship application

To me life so far has been a quest for a better way of living, not just only environmentally and

physically but also intellectually. Being raised up in a developing country and a lower middle

class family, I grew up experiencing a ton of shortcomings. However, I could not adjust with this

fate of mine and got along with it and stopped dreaming for a shinier future. On the contrary, the

desire to prosper grew more day by day. Thus came to the understanding that education and

education is the only remedy. Moreover, I found an inner peace in studying which helped me to

forget my background situation. Knowledge is the key and it has given me the confidence to

survive in this world. Being academically sufficient to manage a job is the sole way to make a

living for a family like ours (at least in my case). Thus I wish to educate myself from a leading

institution like BI in a prosperous country like Norway. Every dream comes with an opportunity

cost and for me the price of fulfilling my dream was not attainable until I came to know about BI

and its scholarship opportunity. Although the quality education provided by BI is costly, yet I

dream to change the condition of my family and my motherland with the scholarship that BI

offers. While dreaming about achieving my educational and personal goals, all these constrain

seem obsolete. I dream to be a scholar and a worthy child of my family, lastly a global citizen of

this world. My mother being a nurse, I guess the quality of helping people is in my blood.

Serving the community around me through my knowledge and experience is also another thing

that I wish to do. Specially, I want to work with the youths to guide them properly. I believe

there are great potentials in young people that can change the course of their life and the people

around them. I plan to establish a YOUTH CENTER that will engage in counseling the young

minds and help them find their passion in life. Moreover, this establishment will work as their

motivation and help them develop their skills and everything else that takes to success. Already,

I am working voluntarily with a non-profit organization named Higherstudyabroad

(http://www.higherstudyabroad.com/about/) which helps Bangladeshi students with all the

necessary information and helps them to go through most of the process for studying abroad. All

of this is free of cost. In order to fulfill these dreams first I need to equip myself with skills and

knowledge which I will get from BI, I believe. And the Bachelor of shipping management is the

only way to afford the education I wish to avail for the betterment of myself, my family, the

society and the world itself.
