6 Move Away from Each Comfort Zone

Day 1 Singapore – Paro - Thimpu (L/D) Arrival Elevation 2.320m(Tip: Best to be sat at the left window seats for the best views prior landing)

Upon Arrival into Bhutan, a warm welcome by DTS representative. Your “First Bhutan Outing”journey will begin by visiting The National Museum, the house of ancient treasures of the kingdom.A stopover for lunch at Paro town, visit the weekend market after which, we will proceed to the Capital city of Thimphu for more exploration. During your journey, you will visit Tachogang Temple & walk the Iron bridge built in 14th Century. ( Note: Weekend market is only from Fri-Sun.)

Next, you will make your way to your hotel.

Once you have settled in, you will continue your sightseeing adventures of Thimpu:Visiting Tashichodzong, the fortress, Changangkha temple, the oldest temple and witnessevening prayers of the monks.

Dinner at Bhutan Kitchen or similar.

Stay: Termalica Resort or Similar

Day 2 Tour of Thimpu (B/L/D) Elevation 2,320m

After Breakfast, sight seeing journey will continue, which includes the Big Buddha Statue, Takin ReservePark, and scenic view and photography at the Peak of BBS Tower. To visit the textile weaving center.

Lunch to be arranged at an old heritage architectural building, Babessa Village or Similar.

After lunch, you will visit the town to experience the renown “One & only one” post office( remember to Post your postcards), and much talked about the ONLY traffic police control in Bhutan.; An opportunity for photography time. Continue with some shopping in local shops, and remember to buy the 5 Color flags and more...If you are craving for a cup of nice coffee, would suggest that you visit Ambient Cafe.

For those interested in night photography, you can do night shots of illuminated view of Tashicho Dzong Fortress & Thimphu Valley.

Dinner to be arranged.

If time permits, you can experience Bhutanese "Hot Stone' bath in hotel at own expense.(Optional)“Curiosity kills the cat”: If you are not too tired you can explore the Night City Life in Thimphu. Stay: Termalinca Resort or Similar

Day 3 Thimpu - Social Good & outdoor Activities (B/L/D) Elevation 1,350m

Today’s program: Hike for “Green” for about 2 & half hours.You will hike towards Lubgchutse Monastery which temple overlooks the Himalayan Islands. Her Majesty, Queen Mother Doriji Wangomo, Wangchuk commissioned the construction of the Lungchutse Chorten (Stupa) and restoration of the Lungchuste Monastery. Her Royal Highness visits the monastery occasionally.

Lunch to be arranged at Monastery

Before Lunch, you will learn & experience to find your inner peace in meditation with the Monk.

After, we will head on towards to enjoy more fun in trying the National Sport "Dha" & "Khuru" at the hotel.

Move Away from Each Comfort ZoneDay 4 Exploration to Punakha & Paro (B/L/D) Elevation 1,300m

A much early rise for a day excursion to Dochula Pass, the 108 Stupas. Taking an essential drive onwards exploring the scenic Punakha Valeey. After, you will head over to Phunakha Tzong featuring the male and female River. Prepare for truly awesome landscapes featuring the 2 rivers also known as male & female rivers.

Lunch will be at Chimi Lhakhang cafeteria with Panoramic view of the Village.

After Lunch, you will head off to Chimi Lhakhang ( The Fertility Temple): a temple that sits in the picturesque hill surrounded by rice fields. A short hike of 30 mins to 45 mins is required. Thereafter, a 4 & half hours drive back to Paro.

Day 5 Beyond Haa- Short Day Excursion (B/L/D)

Haa Valley is known to be one of the most picturesque places, and is well-known for its animist tradition. We recommend a good rest for the remained of the day. The Haa Valley was opened for this first time to foreign tourist in 2002. Haa valley is also a paradise for nature lovers, and you will be certain to have a rewarding experience.

The scenic drive to Haa Valley corsses 3988m Chele-la pass, where you can see the superub views of Mount. Chomolhari & Jichu Drakey. Take a short walk and capture panoramic views of valley & houses.You will also have an opportunity to learn how to savor in local palate to try “Haa Chugo” and “Haapai" a tradition dish originated from Haa.

After Lunch. A MUST learn lesson on how to make your own Tsa Tsa (Small stupas); to be "Blessed by the Monks": The small stupas you made symoolizes "Blessings", which you have to place it at Tiger's Nest the following day.Next, last minute shopping at the Paro town. Dinner to be arranged at Paro town.

Day 6 Test your Physique—Hike up to The Tiger’s Nest (B/L/D) Elevation 2,280m

Depart the hotel in the early morning to the most renown famous temple in the Himalayan Buddhist.The Tiger’s Nest --Taktsang Monastery. Hike takes about 3 & half hours ascending to Taktshang,Today, you will enjoy your lunch at the Taktshang Cafeteria where you get a spectacular view of Tiger’s Nest. If you are not tired after the hike, you can take a short visit to the Ruin of Drukgyel Dzong.Ponies and walking sticks can be pre-arranged at own expense at US$20 per person & US$2 per stick respectively.

Tips: To rejuvenate oneself after a long hiking activity, you are encouraged to try the Bhutanese Hot Stone Bath(US $25 per person on own account) for some relaxation.

Tonight’s dinner will be served in the hotel.Return to Hotel for your last night in Bhutan for Cultural event and to put on your traditional costume: Kira & Gho. Join in the “joyous” moment learning the Tradition Dance.
