This poignant remark of Martin Luther King, Jr, about the state of the modern world rings strikingly true.

In the recent times, there has been an amazing increase in human ability to control the outer world by science and technology.

But simultaneously there has been an alarming decline in human ability to control the inner world resulting in a variety of irrational passions - immorality and corruption at best and terrorism and brutality at worst.

Over the past few centuries modern man has performed immense intellectual labor in an attempt to decrease the miseries of material existence. But all of these efforts have been directed in the realm of matter. This has resulted in an increased ability to manipulate the material energy through science and technology. But modern man has, with almost a religious dogma, avoided applying his intellectual faculties to understanding the spiritual dimension of life.

But all the cherished human qualities like love, compassion, honesty and selflessness spring from the soul - the spiritual aspect of our being. Therefore negligence of spiritual life has had disastrous consequences; there has been a marked decline in all these virtuous human attributes in modern society. That is the cause of the guided-missiles-misguided-men syndrome.

Evolution… As long as mankind keeps searching for evolution

evidence based on scientific parameters... one reaches nowhere!

Evolution is beyond the domain of science... at most science can make fundamental interpretations... analyze the data... get results there of... but no further!

It is the field of spirituality... the domain of God that makes clear what evolution is all about !!

From the beginning to the end... from the start of Cosmos to the dissolution of Cosmos (termed Pralaya in Hinduism)... everything is detailed in sacred Bhagavad Gita... the journey of evolution from ape to man... evidence supporting evolution... the entire process of evolution itself! Bhagavad Gita is ABCD of evolution... the most confirmed evidence of evolution till date!

Evidence of human evolution

The modern theory of evolution is but an interpretation of the fixed laws of nature... that lie buried in the famed sacred scriptures of Hinduism.

Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism... the foremost of all sacred scriptures existing on Mother Earth contains everything worth knowable on the path of evolution... everything related to the modern theory of evolution!

Bhagavad Gita & theory of evolution

As per Bhagavad Gita all the evolutionary stages... the life of an insect, plant or an animal are mere different sojourns in the entire life cycle of... the life journey of a soul atman... the spirit within!

To cleanse itself of the gross impurities within every soul ,atman manifests a total of 8.4 million bodies.

In the evolutionary process the first manifestation by our soul atman is that of an amoeba (single cell formation)! It further evolves into multi-cell formation... then insect life... plant life... animal life and finally the form of human beings!

It is not that apes are our forefathers. Every single insect... every single plant... every single animal is our forefather!

Ever since start of cosmic journey with a big bang when God Almighty explodes self... all souls atmans scattered all over Cosmos at unimaginable speeds.

In the melee... the pure souls' atmans gathered impurities similar as rolling ball gathers moss! And started the cosmic life cycle of every soul atman... a single life journey of 8.4 million manifestations... 96.4 million earthly years!

form is the absolute truth of life ! Human beings may or may not accept it but the

cosmic truths detailed in sacred Bhagavad Gita can never be belied !

As the soul atman proceeds on its cosmic journey... it is through the process of evolution... the cycle of evolution life moves ahead in the cosmic system.

The Doctrine of Karma..The law of karma is the governing factor of the

Cosmos. It is through the complex process of karma life evolves in the cosmic system.

Whatever the residual balance of life at the time of death of the body becomes the opening balance of the next manifestation... the new life form undertaken by the soul atman!

The doctrine of karma is the accountant general of the cosmic system. Whatever the closing balance of life for one manifestation... becomes the opening balance for new manifestation... next life form manifested by it !

As per law of karma nothing in cosmic system is unordered as stipulated by famous physicist Stephen Hawking in his famous book, "a brief history of time"!

Ignorant Scientist…The ignorant scientist fails to understand the

hidden parables of the cosmic system! The concept of evolution... the theory of evolution is beyond the capture of science.

It is only when perceived from spirituality point of view the matters become clear!

Nothing can be more straightforward than the theory of evolution inbuilt into the cosmic system by God Almighty.

The doctrine of Bhagavad Gita is not merely a concept... something imposed on humanity by Hinduism !

The doctrine of Bhagavad Gita by Lord Krishna has universal appeal. It can be understood by anyone... one who truly desires traveling the spiritual path !

The theory of evolution is a fact of life as much as existence of life on Mother Earth.

Similar as mankind has been disputing the birth of Cosmos through big bang... scientists world over continue putting more and more irrational theories in support of their research and documentation.

The theory of evolution and the theory of big bang exist from the beginning of time... ever since Cosmos came into being !

Why fret and fume over matters beyond our capture?

The theory of ape to human evolution is a fundamental fact of life. From the stage of ape to human beings... it is not a journey of centuries or millennia... it is much more an older concept!

In the initial stages of the evolutionary ladder life moved slowly. As science took roots... it was never looking back!

With the dawn of wisdom on mankind... civilizations took shape!

Similar as a student of class one promotes to class two... then class three... then class six and so on...

On the evolutionary scale life moves from the stage of insect, to plant... then animal... the form of ape and finally the form of human beings !

At no stage of life we can discard our forefathers... the light bearers of the process of evolution!

A student of class 12 is never ashamed of student of class one!

On seeing lower forms of life... we never can feel bad about it !

Every single human being... our soul atman the spirit within before reaching human form has already crossed 7.3 million stage

Gaining enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and finally salvation (moksha) is the last stage of evolution.

The moment one becomes an enlightened one... all is over for the soul atman within.

The impurities having completely removed from our soul atman... the need for the soul atman to manifest a life form ceases to exist.

For an enlightened oneThe journey of evolution

finally comes to an end! Having gained enlightenment... the liberated soul atman finally enters the abode of God... the kingdom of God (termed Baikuntha in Hinduism).

The liberation of the soul atman from the cycle of birth and death finally announces one having climbed the evolutionary path in totality.

reel of movie film, when seen consecutively, appear as one picture on the screen, although there are actually many different pictures. Similiarly, we see a man as localized (above), but actually his body is changing at every second. All this is happening without the notice of the viewer. However the soul within the heart (seen as a sparkling star) does not change; he remains eternally the same.

At the top is fire covered by smoke, symbolizing human life. At the bottom left is a mirror covered by dust, symbolizing animal life.

At the bottom right is an embryo covered by the womb, symbolizing tree and plant life.

Spirit soul sustains the material universe of earth, water, fire, etc. (represented as the body).

The subtle body-mind, intelligence and false ego-is represented by the red dot on the forehead.

The soul is seated in the heart of the gross body.

One who has taken his birth is sure to die, and after death one is sure to take birth again. Therefore, in the unavoidable discharge of your duty, you should not lament.

Albert Einstein… In the domain of God... on the path of spirituality everything is determined by belief

and absolute faith in God Almighty. On the contrary science demands proof... the prime reason why scientists world over fail to understand the gist of Bhagavad Gita. Albert Einstein the famous physicist regretted that he failed to start study of Bhagavad Gita in the early stages of his life!

By the time he started reading Bhagavad Gita... Albert Einstein was too old to fathom the depth of wisdom contained therein. By the time he ventured into Bhagavad Gita it was time to bid goodbye! Normal human beings use their brain 1%... Albert Einstein used his brain 4%... all knower of Bhagavad Gita... the enlightened ones use their brain hundred percent!

The concepts contained in sacred Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism are crystal clear. Everything stated in sacred Bhagavad Gita is in absolute terms. There is absolutely no chance of any errs! If we seriously desire unveiling the true precepts of evolution... all evidence concerning evolution... we need not look beyond Bhagavad Gita.

The total scientific community of the World combined can never outright discard Bhagwad Gita as it is the foremost of all sacred Scriptures...

as most spiritual phenomenon do not offer proof but can be felt and experienced if logically followed to the end.

The prime reason why Albert Einstein failed to understand Gita in the earlier years of his life... every scientist in the world... rather science demands proof. In the system of God it is absolute faith that rules the roost! Devoid of absolute faith in God almighty and searching for proofs at every stage of life... most scientists' world over never come to understand Bhagavad Gita!

Scientists please realise…

If you see an unseen hand helping you out when in deep trouble... do we ever doubt the existence of God!

If you feel the nice smell of a flower... admit it openly for it is not within your control to duplicate it. No human being can ever create even the smallest particle of dust from nowhere.

Likewise no scientist ever invents... one only discovers neigh rather unveils whatever exists since eternity (from the time of Big Bang)... and shall continue to exist until Pralaya (the end of the Cosmos) occurs.

Spirituality is beyond the capture of scientists and most philosophers.

Spirituality truly starts where science ends! It is only the faith in the system of God that made

Einstein able to decipher Bhagvad Gita slightly. He regretted in the end phase of his life that it was his biggest mistake to try reading Bhagvat Gita as a scientist.

Only if he had tried otherwise he might have become successful !!

Science demands proofs and in the domain of God everything works by the system of faith. To feel the smell of a flower you do not need to see it. To feel the presence of God... you only need to close your eyes and have absolute faith in him.

If we need to understand Bhagvad Gita we need to understand it from the perspective put forward by Lord Krishna. Only then the wisdom contained in the Bhagavad Gita will work in our favor.

Bhagavad Gita can never be understood literally.

One needs reading in between the lines to understand the essence of Wisdom contained in Bhagavad Gita.

Mounted with a bloated ego, wanton desires and greed for materialistic riches most human beings on Mother Earth try reading Bhagavad Gita literally!

No wonder they remain wherever they are always and ever!

Perfect knowledge???? Scientists may carry out much research work, but however great a scientist

may be, his senses are imperfect. Therefore he cannot have perfect knowledge.

What is the value of our eyes? We cannot see without sunlight, nor can we see small things without a microscope. Our eyes are imperfect, and the instruments our eyes have discovered are also imperfect.

How, then, is it possible to get perfect knowledge? Because the living entity is limited, his knowledge is limited. The senses through which a scientist acquires knowledge are limited and

imperfect; therefore his knowledge is limited and imperfect. In his ignorance he may claim to know everything, but that is simply nonsense

The continued relevance and contribution of Srimad Bhagavatam

The metaphysics of the Bhagavatam, the actual essence and whole point of the work remain, and they have great power to provide insight and value to contemporary physical science.

As Martin Luther King put it: "We live in an age of guided missiles and misguided men“

Srila A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada used the analogy of a lame man (the metaphysics alone) and a blind man (the physical sciences alone). Either one alone is incomplete. Together they are complementary.

Srimad Bhagavatam represents the best of metaphysics and the best of contemporary science - two great tastes that go great together.

The addition of metaphysical insight to physical science is crucial to a balanced society.
