Bhagwad Gita, 3:21
A legend in his lifetime and a source of inspiration
"Sh. Goverdhan Dass Seth" a role model filled with
indomitable spirit, determination, business acumen and a
solid foundation character. We are inspired and guided by
the life and the actions of this divine soul.
We at G.D. Foods are committed to achieve his "Vision".
OUR FOUNDATION DAY 27th OCTOBER
This issue of GD Foods Expressions is dedicated
in rememberance of Sh. Goverdhan Dass Seth.

Sh. Goverdhan Dass Seth (of Sargodha)(1904-27th Oct 1980)
The first half of the Financial Year 2010 –11 has just passed
by and our performance during this period was reasonably
good inspite of lots of impediments.
However with further automation and modernization of
our Neemrana factory, I can forsee that our production
capacity would be doubled in due course of time, to achieve
this, all the departments must gear up.
The theme of this edition is GOAL. I would like to take this
opportunity to bring your attention to the importance of
setting goals. Goals help to guide our actions.
This was manifested clearly from our performance at the
Common Wealth Games where players were focused on
their goals. A lot of players had set goals of winning the
particular medals and they won it. It is therefore imperative
for us to set our Goals, both short term and long term. I
would encourage you to make the list of all your goals,
whether personal/professional and always keep going back
to them. You will then realize true happiness comes only
when goals are achieved through untiring efforts.
The festive season is here, and I rejoice it every time when I
see people getting dressed and shopping for the festivals.
The festive spirit brings freshness and rejuvenation in our
lives.
I wish you and your families a very Happy Diwali.
Hello Friends, It gives me pleasure to welcome you back to
yet another issue of our Magazine “G.D. Foods -
Expressions”. I can't but help and reflect on all that we have
achieved in the last couple of months despite a few obstacles.
As you are aware the theme of the magazine this time is
“Goal” and its importance. I would like to focus on the key
points we need to keep in mind when we set our Goals.
Once we have planned our task, we need developing several
goals that will enable us to be successful with that task. Goals
should be SMART – Specific, measurable, agreed upon,
realistic and time based. The acronym SMART has a
number of slightly different variations, which can be used to
provide more comprehensive definition for goal setting.
Specific: Well defined and clear to everyone.
Measurable: Know if the goal is obtainable, know its
completion, performance and when it has to be achieved.
Agreed upon: Agreement with all the stake holders on what
the Goals should be.
Realistic: With in the availability of Resources, knowledge
and time
Time Based: Enough time to achieve the goal.
This provides a broader definition and I am sure several of
us reflect on how can we develop ourselves in setting
SMART GOALS.
Wishing you and your families a very Happy Diwali.

We are on growth path... together
“Actions without Goalshave no purpose and will be futile”
“ Goals without action will haveno transformation and will be futile”
Achieving goal
Any goal can be achieved with clear, written & specific
objectives, because only a seen target can be hit. Human
mind creativity can make impossible – possible. Start with the
power of belief, that can give us enormous energy to activate
the creative powers within us.
Whatever we want to achieve, we can – with the infinite
intellegence of our subconscious mind that is within all of us.
We just have to activate it and concentrate on our goals.

HUMOUR CORNERCheap parking this one
An Indian man walks into a bank in New York City and asks
for a $5000 loan. The bank asks for a security for the loan,
and the Indian man hands over the keys and documents of
his new Ferrari, parked on the street in front of the bank.
After all necessary checks and authenticity the bank agrees to
grant him the loan.
The bank's president and its officers all enjoy a good laugh at
the Indian for using $ 2,50,000 Ferrari as Collateral against
a loan of $5000. The Car was then parked in the banks
garage. Two weeks later the Indian returns and repays
$5000 and the interest which comes to $15.41.
The loan officer says, Sir we are very happy to have had your
business and this transaction worked out very nicely, but we
are a little puzzled. While you were away, we checked out
and found that you are a multimillionaire, than why did you
bother to borrow $5000 ?
The Indian replies, where else in New York City can I park
my car for two weeks for only $ 15.41 and expect it to be
there when I return.
AH !!! The mind of the Indian.
