Total arable land area of the 3 project sites has approximalety 5.000.000 ha

Project will be implemented in 10 provinces◦ 3 province in pilot area 1◦ 4 provinces in pilot area 2◦ 3 provinces in pilot area 3

The sites has rich flora and high endemismPeople in project sites use many plant for nutritional

purpose (wild relatives of crops, vegetables, fruits and bulbs)

Black Sea Pilot Site: Kastamonu, Sinop and Çankırı

It is located in the Euro-Siberian biogeographic region and has transition zone to the Irano-Turanian biogeographic region

Mountain steps and forests vegetation are dominant in this area and also rich flora and high endemism
