Daikin Youth Design Competition established with the goal to cultivate and nurture Interior Design students by providing a platform to showcase their creativity and innovative idea to the industry.
To provide a solution for Interior Design Students to create new possibility on their design with –
The Hidden Beauty concept.

Competition Guideline
1. Download and design according to the given floorplan.2. Minimum requirement of design: Living Room, Bedroom, Closet
and Kitchen.3. Apply HCAC products in your design according to the “Aircond
Selection” guideline. Strictly no wall mount aircond is allowed.4. Calculate suitable AC capacity by following the “Heat Load
Calculation” guideline.5. Refer to the Home Central Air Conditioning catalogue and
aircond ID Handbook guideline and apply in your design.6. HCAC 3D models and top view models is available for download
and apply in the drawing.

How to Submit
1. Download and complete the entry form fromhttp://daikinyouthdesign.daikin.com.my
- Indicate design concept with not more than 300 words of descriptionin PDF file named “Design Concept.docx”
2. Google drive folder included:
- A folder named “Your Name_Perspective” with JPEG files of yourperspective file at 300dpi and named “Your Name_LivingRoom .jpeg”,“Your Name_Closet.jpeg” and etc.
- Your recent personal photo in JPEG format set at 300dpi with yourname set as the file name.
- A folder named “Your Name_Presentation Board” with PDF files ofyour presentation boards at 300dpi with named “Your Name_Board 1”,“Your Name_Board 2” and etc.
3. Upload all the files and entry form on Google Drive with a master file named “Your Name_College” which may not exceed 20MB, send an email to [email protected] attached with the link of Google Drive with email title “DAIKIN YOUTH DESIGN COMPETITION SUBMIT ENTRY”.
4. Submission date: 2nd March 2020 – 31st July 2020 (3pm)
