28 August 2017 “To whom it may concern” Huis Betlehem Golf Day – 28 September 2017 Huis Betlehem have two houses, one in Nelspruit and one in White River. Currently, they can only accommodate 6 children in White River. They cannot accommodate any more children in desperate need for a house of safety. The house in Nelspruit is currently empty, due to insufficient funds. We are hosting a Golf Day for them to raise funds on 28 September 2017 at Nelspruit Golf Club. We are looking for sponsorships for the Golf Day. These monies will assist them to help more children in need of safety and they will be able to accommodate more children. We approached Off Course Golf Promotions. Tobie Mosterd from Johannesburg, will assist us with the fund raising for Huis Betlehem. Tobie will have sports items like Hats and Springbok Jersey that's been signed by professional players and have been framed, that will be auctioned on that day. Attached find their company profile. Elsa Scheepers, wat ‘n hart vir kinders het, is al etlike jare by Huis Betlehem betrokke. Sy en haar bekwame

sus, Ann van der Merwe wil vir Huis Betlehem ‘n gholfdag reël wat einde Septemeber 2017 gaan plaasvind. Ons

as bestuur van Huis Betlehem Trust gee vir hul toestemming om potensiële ondersteuners te verkry.

Huis Betlehem word reeds 18 jaar onder die vaandel van die CMR as ‘n nie-winsgewende organisasie bedryf,

tesame met Huis Betlehem Trust. Ons is ‘n plek van veiligheid vir getraumatiseerde kinders wat statutêr uit hul

ouerhuise verwyder moes word deur maatskaplike werkers van verskeie organisasies soos bv. CMR, Kindersorg

ens. Hulle word tydelik gehuisves in een van ons huise wat vir hul onder huislike omstandighede veiligheid bied,

alvorens hulle weer uitgeplaas word. Elke huis kan 6 kinders huisves en word versorg deur inwonende huisouers.

Die stygende lewenskostes en Witrivier Huis se verhuising na ‘n duurder perseel, het ‘n baie groot inpak op ons

finansies, met moontlik verreikende implikasies.

Ons versorg tans 6 kinders met ouderdomme wat wissel van 3 maande tot 14 jaar in ons Witrivier Huis. Die

kostes per huis is ongeveer R25 000-00pm, maar ons gemiddelde, versekerde inkomste is slegs R11 000-00 per

huis pm, dus ‘n tekort van R14 000-00pm per huis. Enige enkelbedrae (n.a.v. gholfdag of andersins) of vaste

maandelikse inkomstes sal verwelkom word. Ons reik A18 kwitansies uit op versoek.
