I would like to apply for a retail associate position. I learned about the job opening

through the FIU Career Services network, where I originally submitted my resume, and

am resubmitting my credentials to the Best Buy website as per your request. I am

currently an English major at Florida International University and will receive my degree

in December of this year. I am interested in the retail associate position because I feel

ideally suited for the job given my experience in the field of hospitality services and the

retail industry. I have had extensive experience dealing with the public in two different

retail jobs, first as a photo specialist/cashier at Walgreens, and most recently as a Front

Desk Associate at the Coral Gables Courtyard Marriott. I am outgoing, confident and

charismatic around people from all walks of life, and know firsthand what it means to go

above and beyond accommodating honored guests and customers, making them feel at

home. My proud work ethic and people skills would surely be an asset to your team.

While I have no previous experience working for an electronics store, I consider myself

savvy in the rapidly growing world of technology and its many applications in the home

and office. Best Buy is especially appealing to me it has always been my greatest

resource for hobbies I’m passionate about, such as video games, photography, film,

and music. I take pride in working with integrity, and have a passion for delivering and
