A pizza made at Besta Fastawill be uniquely fresh and home-made, unlike the chain pizzashops. Besta Fasta prepares freshdough daily and purchases qual-ity mozzarella and provolonecheese in logs that are grounddaily so they are fresh and havefewer preservatives.

Besta Fasta makes a uniquehomemade pizza that can becustomized for whateverpizza taste customers have.

The menu includes muchmore than pizza with a varietyof subs made with freshlysliced cheeses and Troyer’smeat from Millersburg.

Salads, wings, calzones andspaghetti with side items tochoose from, including moz-zarella sticks, chicken tenders,spicy meatballs and cheesy gar-lic bread, are available daily.

A new gluten-free pizza hasbeen added to the menu, alongwith an option for thin-crust pizza.

RussNorris and his wife, Kathy, shopowners, create the best-tastingingredient combinations toplan the recipes on their menu.One of Besta Fasta’s most pop-ular menu items is the spicychicken ranch specialty pizza.The pizza features high-qualitychicken marinated in home-made wing sauce, either mildor spicy, on top of homemadedough and cooked to perfec-tion with ranch sauce.

The spicy chicken ranchpizza also is available on Mon-days at a discounted price ofjust $15.49. Monday’s dailyspecials are 14-inch pizzas andinclude the deluxe pizza (fea-turing pepperoni, sausage,mushrooms, onions, greenpeppers, green olives, blackolives, mild peppers and hotpeppers), spicy chicken ranchpizza, southwest steak pizza,taco pizza or spaghetti pizza.

Besta Fasta has a daily spe-cial for every day of the week,as well as lunch specials. Forlunch, customers can choosean 8-inch cheese pizza for$4.99 (just 75 cents extra pertopping or for extra cheese), a7-inch sub for $6.49 or a spe-cialty salad for $6.99.

A monthly special also hasbeen added — in June it’s ameatball sub. A 7-inch meat-ball sub is $5.99, a 10-inch subis $7.49 and a 20-inch sub isavailable for $14.49.

All lunch specials comewith a soft drink.

The Norrises opened BestaFasta Pizza about 10 years agoin Savannah. Once the Savan-nah store opened, many cus-tomers drove from Ashland,so they decided to open anAshland location eight yearsago. They now have a cus-tomer base from Jeromesville,Loudonville, Wooster and allover the surrounding area.
