Can you hear me?

I believe in being associated with the best people. As a result, when I encounter someone I suspect might bea potential team member, I usually take them to lunch to further my understanding of their capabilities. Onoccasion, when I find someone I really like, I will advise management. The companies that earn the mostrespect in our business have the most competent, ethical people.

I've already stated it but I've never been happier in any type of employment. I cannot speak for all but I knowthat most in our office truly believes and trusts in our immediate and senior leadership. We love our jobs andthey have set us up for immediate success. Thank you for your time!

As many similar firms in the area, we are currently understaffed and working longer than ideal hours to makeup for it. Achieving a proper work -life balance has been difficult, but having piers that are so much likefamily makes it easier.

The way my position is set up, I don't work closely with other employees of this organization so thequestions about the work ethic of the people I work with don't really apply to the organization.

frequently, our department is not informed of or included in decisions that affect our department. Our inputcould have made the process smoother if we had had input at the beginning.

Recommendations

RecommendationsEven the best workplaces in the world know they have opportunities to improve.Through this survey, you have gathered significant feedback from your employees. Thenext step is to take action.

This report is designed to offer broad suggestions that you and other leaders might taketo make improvements. Not every suggestion will be relevant to your organization andmay need to be adapted to fit to your culture. These suggestions represent the itemswhere you have the greatest opportunity for improvement when compared to the top-scoring workplaces in your region.

Compensation is a topic too often avoided between managers and employees. Compensation is thereason most people have to work, so it's an important factor to discuss openly. When employees growconcerned or dissatisfied with their compensation, they start thinking about seeking other jobs. Askemployees how they feel about their compensation. Encourage employees to express any concerns whilethere is still opportunity to make an impact versus after they leave.

At least once per year, check in with employees about their compensation andbenefits package.

When it doubt, people tend to assume the worst. Creating transparency and clarity as a leadership teamis critical to building and maintaining trust. One powerful way to do this is to be very clear with employeesabout how decisions are made and who is involved. When significant decisions are made, share whythose decision were made. Even when employees don't agree with the decision, knowing why and howthe decision was made can reduce or eliminate drama.

Make decision making more transparent to employees.

Great managers view themselves as advocates for their employees' career development. To do thiseffectively, managers must be aware of each employee's ambitions and goals. Sometimes individualsneed help even thinking about their goals and understanding what career paths are available to them.Helping employees define and move along a career path creates loyalty and commitment.

Encourage career planning discussions with each employee to explore howpersonal and professional goals align.

The best ideas often come from those closest to the work and the customer. Create a place whereemployees can share improvement ideas for their work, the workplace, communication, etc. The moreeasily accessible and visible this place is (Intranets, blogs, online forums, etc.), the more value it willcreate. At regular intervals, ask all employees to vote for the ideas they feel are the best and giverecognition to those ideas with the most support.

Create a forum for sharing improvement ideas and allow employees to vote on thebest ideas.
