The Garden Trellis Company started life in rural Essex in 1992. The simple idea behind the Company was to manufacture quality bespoke trellis panels that would enhance the gardens and outdoor spaces of people who appreciate attention to detail and excellent customer service.

The business has grown each year with new customers adding to the repeat business from our

existing customer base. We never rest on our laurels and continue to develop new products whilst constantly looking to improve our existing range. We still take as much pride making and delivering a single trellis panel as we do when involved in the design and manufacture of a large fully bespoke scheme.

Our flexibility and attention to detail is a key attribute in helping us form close working

relationships with many well known companies and designers. Whether you are a new or established designer, landscaper, architect, developer or private individual we can offer a wealth of experience and knowledge to help turn both simple and more complex projects into reality.

Contemporary Slatted panelSOur contemporary slatted panels can be used to introduce a modern clean style to any garden or outdoor space. We offer a wide range of panels with varying slat sizes and gap widths allowing you

to choose the linear effect best suited to screen or fence your outside space in a modern theme.

Our system of manufacture allows almost any area to be covered.There are a variety of timber species to choose from which can be left to weather naturally or be finished in a colour of your choice.

Avenue PAnelsA beautiful solid fence panel that is handmade to bespoke sizes, available in a variety of attractive natural timber species or finished in the colour of your choice with either paint or stain.

These panels can be used on their own or with decorative trellis tops to create a wonderful frame to any garden or outdoor space. You no longer need to see a run of fencing finished with an odd sized panel.

Weave, Trompe L’oeiL & BeNCH SeaTiNGwEAvE PANELS Based on the traditional weave panels that have been made for centuries, they provide two ‘best’ sides which can be useful for some projects. We like to describe them as a traditional version of our contemporary panel. With three different slat widths the proportions of these panels can be tailored to suit the setting where they are to be installed. Produced in a variety of attractive natural timber species or finished in the colour of your choice in either paint or stain.

TROmPE L’OEIL PANELS

Beautifully made Trompe L’oeil panels, designed to create a stunning feature / focal point whether on a wall, within a run of panels or simply free standing. Choose from standard sizes or we can adapt the dimensions and designs to suit whatever space is available.

bENCh SEATING Clean and comfortable bench seats that can be supplied free standing or with galvanised brackets that cantilever off brickwork and stone walls. Available in a variety of timber species with the option of stainless steel spacers between each seat baton, our benches are made to order and can be produced up to five metres long. They are generally supplied ready built for simple installation. The timber can be left to weather naturally or finished using either a stain or paint in a wide selection of attractive colours.

With four styles available in a wide selection of sizes and colours, our range of traditional & contemporary planters offer solutions to most applications. All the planters we produce are built with an integral fibreglass lining that further enhances the strength and durability of each

unit. We specialise in painted planters but also manufacture them in natural timbers.

We also welcome made to measure orders. Our planter ‘chassis’ can lend itself to other variations in design or a totally bespoke design can be provided as part of our Prestige service.

Obelisks, TOwers & Trellis COlumnsUsed to create height and interest as either stand alone items or built into planters, our obelisks and towers allow a choice of both traditional and contemporary styles.

They are offered in a selection of sizes and colours while bespoke sizes can be produced in the

same styles or, if specific styles are required, they can be designed and made using our Prestige service. Trellis columns can add extra dimension and feature to a run of trellis. As well as providing an obvious strength there is the ability to hide wires for lighting etc.

A Garden Trellis Company bridge will be a striking focal point to any water feature, whether a small stream or brook or a larger pond or river. Manufactured using quality materials with built in safety features like anti-slip decking, we offer a product that will provide years of service and visual enjoyment.

DECkINGQuality timber decking is a durable way to create platforms, verandas, different levels or

walkways in gardens and outdoor spaces. Decking is often a warmer, softer option to traditional paving materials providing a congenial extension to the inside living area. It is particularly suited to roof gardens where the combination of wooden planters and furniture can help create a stylish and practical area for entertaining friends.

We also manufacture balustrade panels that can be used to provide definition to the deck space and offer an element of safety.

A tidy and attractive way to hide what is often the most unsightly home and garden necessity. Handmade and hand finished these units can be designed to deal with the most awkward of spaces. Available in a variety of styles and timber species built to almost any size.

AIR CONDITIONING

Air conditioning units are mainly used for offices, hotels and other

commercial buildings although they are now often seen in private residences. The units themselves however are not always an attractive addition to a building. We can help to redress this with thoughtfully designed and built covers that disguise the unit while not limiting the all important airflow.

Modern designs can use our contemporary slatted panels or for a traditional look we use our ‘Classic trellis’ panels while louvre panels work well for both modern and traditional styles.

While some BBQ units can be attractive in their own right others leave a lot to be desired. With a purposely designed and built unit we can make the BBQ something that doesn’t detract from your garden, deck or terrace.

wATER STORAGEMost of us are aware that collecting rain water is a simple

and satisfying way to help make the most of natural resources. Plastic rain water butts are not the most attractive reservoir. The solution is to use one of our purpose built water storage units. We offer four styles which match our planter range, with bespoke orders to suit specific spaces welcome.

Our Prestige service also allows us to make these handmade reservoirs in many different architectural styles and finishes.

GATESWhether you need a pair of gates for the entrance to your property or a simple side gate, we have a range built to our usual high standards, setting them apart from the majority and providing solutions to most requests. If you already have a design in mind or wish us to build something original then our Prestige service

offers the facility for us to design and build gates to suit your requirements. All the gates we build can be simple or decorative, with the timber left to weather naturally or finished with a stain or paint in a wide variety of beautiful colours.

PERGOLAS, ARBOURS & ROSE ARCHESPergolas laden with vines, arbours covered in wisteria and arches draped in fragrant roses. All of these products are quite literally, supporting acts to plants. They can also be left as beautiful and refined structures in their own right forming the perfect focal point.

A pergola could be described as an open sided room, somewhere to relax in the shade, but fully connected to the garden.

An arbour can be made with an open roof, or have a solid roof to provide a place to shelter from the odd shower. We enjoy the challenge of creating structure in the garden, with a wealth of experience and an eye for detail we can help develop your ideas to improve an existing or new garden.
