As is obvious from the pictures, this family is in desperate situation.

In this run down shack lives 88 year old, Berto, his son Pedro and a grandson Pedro who is 17 years old.

Berto’s son has been trying to provide and has even collected cinder-blocks and rebar which will be utilized in the new building.

Every group that comes to see

the projects of Dominican

Starfish Foundation, is taken to

this home in hopes someone will

choose to help Berto and his

family. The family has been

praying for that day.
