Welcome to the 2012 Berks County 50plus Resource Directory!

We are pleased to provide you with this annual guide of resources for life

after 50—consider it your 50plus “yellow pages”! The 50plus Resource Directory

contains the most up-to-date offerings from your county with information

from service providers who have displayed a marked interest in assisting you.

You’ll see that the categories in the Resource Directory mirror your own

wide-ranging interests and needs. In this easy-to-read guide, you will find

information for everything from consumer protection, financial services, or

government listings to recreation clubs and volunteer opportunities.

The Mature Living Division at On-Line Publishers has been dedicated to

serving the mind, heart, and spirit of the 50+ community since 1995 through a

variety of publications and events. Each month, we publish 50plus SeniorNews in six county editions. Pick up a free copy for articles that will amuse

you, inspire you, and inform you on topics relevant to your life!

50plus LIVING is an annual guide to residences and care options for the 50+

population in the Susquehanna, Delaware, and Lehigh valleys. At some point

in our lives, we will need to consider senior living options for ourselves or for

a family member, and our region offers a wide range of residential, retirement,

and healthcare options for older adults.

OLP also publishes ( ((b))) magazine, the premier lifestyle publication dedicated

to entertaining, educating, and inspiring Central Pennsylvania’s baby boomers.

Each full-gloss issue looks back at the history-making decades of the ’50s, ’60s,

and ’70s while examining where boomers are today and the issues they now

face. Check out www.bmagazinepa.com.

On-Line Publishers produces six 50plus EXPOs every year—in Chester,

Cumberland, Dauphin, Lancaster (two), Lebanon, and York counties. These

free, fun, one-day events are a chance for area businesses and service providers

to connect face-to-face with the communities they serve. Visit

www.50plusExpoPA.com for details.

Finally, On-Line Publishers produces the PA STATE SENIOR IDOL competition,

created to showcase and highlight the talents of Pennsylvanians 50 and older.

The sixth annual PA STATE SENIOR IDOL, Peggy Kurtz Keller, was chosen at the

finals competition in June 2011. Auditions for 2012 were held in the spring

with finals to be held in June 2012. Visit www.SeniorIdolPA.com for more

information.

We hope the Berks County 50plus Resource Directory will quickly become

one of the handiest ways we serve your mind, heart, and spirit!

Sincerely,

Donna K. Anderson
