Concert Update and Organisation

Next week is the big week! All the students are very excited to show off their amazing talents and all the hard work they have been putting in this term. On Wednesday students are to come to school dressed in their costumes and go directly to their classroom at 8.30am, unless otherwise stated by their classroom teacher. This will give them time to prepare for the whole school dress rehearsal.

Due to this being a very busy and disrupted day, the canteen will be closed so please make sure your child brings a packed recess and lunch. If you would like to collect your child after the Matinee performance on this day you can do so AFTER the concert from their classroom.

On Thursday the students will again come to school in their costumes, but will line up for normal classes at 9am. On this day the canteen will be open for students to order their lunch and for over-the-counter service between 11-11.20am ONLY. So please ensure your child has the necessary additional food. For the evening performance on Thursday, students will need to be back in their classrooms between 4.45-5pm, unless otherwise stated by their classroom teacher.

The canteen will be open at 5pm for the purchase of light refreshments before the commencement of the concert. Students can be collected AFTER the conclusion of the concert from their classroom.

Note: Arrival times are generalised across the school. Some classes may need to arrive earlier and therefore would have received an individual class note.

Audience members are asked to be seated 10 minutes prior to the start of each show. Doors will open ½ hour prior. No prams or strollers will be permitted in the hall (sorry for any inconvenience). The P&C will also be selling raffle tickets so bring your change!

Thanking you for your cooperation,

Alanna Wallace

Tree Day Schools Tree Day was a huge success on Monday

thanks to some very enthusiastic students in KJ,

5/6C and 3/4W. Approximately 38 natives were planted along the oval garden and buckets and

buckets of mulch spread to help create some shade for the future and habitat for our local Fauna.

Jarn Hodgson visited yesterday to teach the students about ecosystems through a fun game. It highlighted how different plants and animals all rely on each other for their survival.
