Term 3 21st September 2017 No.31

What’s been happening at OSHC Welcome OSHC Families,

This term has been very busy and investigative, and the children

have immersed themselves in a number of events at OSHC; Our re-

cycling theme was very successful and it is amazing how many great

ideas for upcycling and re-cycling activities were achieved—we will

continue to embed these ideas into our daily life. Garden Beds were

constructed and planted in to start our OSHC gardening program.

Discussions on inclusion and diversity prompted from the YES

Plebiscite. The Dementia awareness banner project was painted,

photographed & hung, again helping to raise awareness on an often

taboo subject. Even the sports program got on board and trialled

sports activities using re-cycled materials. They discussed what it

meant to be a good ‘Sports person’ and the importance of working

positively together. All in all it has been a great tlearning erm, thanx

to all the staff, children and their families.
