Card Fraud ProtectionCredit card fraud is inconvenient, invasive, and damaging. As a World MasterCard® cardholder you benefit from exceptional protection against fraudulent account activity.

Get reimbursed up to USD 2,000 per claim and a maximum of USD 4,000 over a 12-month period. In the event of fraud, you’re covered for unauthorized charges:

• On your lost or stolen MasterCard®, up to 24 hours prior to the event first being reported to the card issuer.

• Made on your bank account and/or credit account through in-store, telephone, ATM withdrawals, and/or online purchases, using your payment card information, up to two months prior to you first reporting the event to your card issuer


ATM RobberyAs a World MasterCard® cardholder, you are protected if:

• You are robbed of cash within 15 minutes of withdrawal

• Forced by a threat of violence to withdraw money from an ATM

Your card will also allow you to be reimbursed on:

• The amount of money withdrawn from the ATM, up to USD 500 per claim and a maximum of USD 700 over a 12-month period

• Any medical expenses incurred directly and solely resulting from such robbery incurred within 12 hours of the robbery or threat of violence
