We knew our Mocha Moment regulars cared about Heidi, but you amazed us in March when we quietly put out a donation jar for groceries, and you filled it with $850. Besides Heidi’s two years of treatments for skin cancer, she underwent hip surgery late last year. Recovery has been painful and slow. Heidi’s insurance leaves many medical expenses to be paid out of pocket. Dan works two jobs; Heidi hasn’t worked in months. Heidi and Dan struggle to pay bills and provide for their two elementary school children. Many of our Mocha Moment community wish we were open on Sundays. To the public, this Sunday is just a regular day of business. The difference, however, is that Mocha Moment will contribute 100% of gross sales, plus donations from our Mocha Moment community.
