Heather's Latest Art... a series of monotypes, that are very different from the watercolours of old.The intent of this series of monotypes is to use essence of the natural world and its ever changing ebb and flow to symbolize a journey through life. Swirling life forms depict our mysterious origins in primordial broth. Lithesome leaves dance with joy and exuberance. Remnants of bright fall amidst dead foliage show our tenacity. Wintry images symbolize moments when we are divested of all life’s trappings, and aware of our inner strength and our vulnerability. Turbulent seas, and castles of old remind us that we have a past that is shaped by tides and winds. And finally the eye from the underground asks the question of … infinity.TRANSCRIPT
