Culture

The annual Chinese New Year celebration in Loomis Chaffee school is aimed not only to allow students from China to celebrate their major holiday, but also to spread the culture to students and faculties who never had a chance to experience it. The purpose of this photographic set is to capture the tone, the moments, and the sense of community within the event. This cultural celebration became an opportu-nity for students from all over the world to strengthen their friendships and experience the culture of people from other parts of the world.

Food

Even though the event was the celebration of the Chinese New Year, the food was not limited to Chinese food. Oth-er clubs with similar culture also made food for the event. The Japanese club made some curry while the Korean club made some Korean beef and fried rice.

Sing and DanceThe karaoke at the end of the event brought quiet and loud students together to sing on the stage. Both teachers and students had a chance to express themselves in the stage and sing their favorite songs. Some tend to dance while singing while others expressed their emotions purely with their voices.
