Senior Contracts Engineer (PMC / PMT)

Amec Foster Wheeler for ADMA-OPCO Umm LuLu Phase 2 Super Complex.

PMC / PMT Contract and Commercial Management of a consortium contractor comprised of NPCC and Technip who were awarded the EPC contract worth $1.69bn for the Umm Lulu Phase II Full Field Development of Shore IN Abu DHABI.

Umm Lulu field is located in the Arabian Gulf 30km north-west of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE). The offshore oil field is being developed by Adma-Opco, a joint venture of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc, 60%), BP (14.67%), Total (13.33%) and Japan Oil Development Company (Jodco, 12%).

The Front-End Engineering and Design (FEED) for the project was completed in 2011. The field development is divided into two phases.

The field is expected to produce up to 100,000 barrels of crude oil per day when fully developed.

Phase two development involves the installation of six new wellhead towers and the construction of a Super Complex consisting of six bridge linked platforms, including a gas treatment platform, a separation platform,

a riser platform, a utilities platform, an accommodation platform, a water disposal platform and two flare platforms.

Primary responsibilities include;

Contract and commercial administration (all aspects of). Preparation of Contractual Correspondence (all aspects of). Management and evaluation of Contractual entitlement of Contractors Claims and accompanying

recommendations. Valuation of Contractual complaint variations and preparation of cost recommendations. Preparation of PMC / PMT Position Statements with respect to Contractual Disputes. PMT support with respect to 3rd Party Expert Determination / Alternative Dispute Resolution.
