Film and TV Experience
During university holidays I actively sought out work experience to further expand my knowledge and skill base.
Junior Researcher, True North Productions: 5 days’ work experience in which time I found a key contributor used in the Channel 4 Dispatches episode ‘Trains: Are We Paying Too Much?’ April 2015.
Assistant Editor, True North Productions: I was invited back for an additional 10 days’ work experience as an assistant editor, August 2015 and October 2015.
ITV Tyne Tees: 2 Days’ work experience working alongside editors and camera operators, October 2015.
Sky Sports: 2 Day’s work experience working alongside camera operators, November 2015.
ITV’s Vera: 12 hours work experience on set with the location manager in Newcastle, April 2013.
Sheffield Doc Fest: Volunteered for 6 days as a cinema steward, June 2015.
NBCUniversal: I was selected to take part in the Universal Hot House event where I learnt the basics of film marketing; and had to pitch marketing ideas to NBCUniversal marketing staff, March 2015.
Film Workshops: In my spare time I ran film workshops during Hermitage Academy activity days, July 2011.
Northern Stars Film Academy, Tyneside Cinema (2011)
As part of which I created a short film which was selected to be shown at film festivals around the country.
