Work Experience

2019-Present - Digital SalmonTechnical Artist - Forza StreetResponsible for UI and gameplay mechanics for the upcoming Responsible for UI and gameplay mechanics for the upcoming Forza Game. Working in UE4 alongside senior artists, re-writing pipelines while combining blueprints and code with a heavy focus on the material graph to reduce file size and optimise performance. Also responsible for modelling and blueprints in both in-house and contract projects.

2018 - Driven ArtsFreelance Technical Artist - DAYS OF WARPProduced several tools to increase the speed at which environments could be created inside Unreal Engine 4 for Days of War an indie FPS, working to a brief and feedback from the lead environment artist.

2018 - Guest Lecturer Tech Art MasterclassUniversity of HertfordshireGGave several lectures on Tech Art, explaining the importance of a well designed pipeline, and produced a piece of work in front of a class which combined Particle Systems, Blueprints and Materials while taking questions from students.

Personal Statement

Interested in creating environments and Hard Surface modelling Ibecame a Technical Artist to both increase the pace at which I producedwork and its quality. I enjoyed it so much that it became my new focus:as such I understand what an artist wants from a tool. I have also workedon a AAA title and several group projects, responding to feedback, showingmy ability my ability to work in a team. I continue to develop my skills everyday.
