The product is transported on a ventilated belt through the drying chamber. In the process the product is dried by passing hot air through it. Whether low, medium or high temperature drying, the ANDRITZ belt dryer in this modular construction as-sists you efficiently in your drying require-ments. Belt Drying System BDCPerfect professional dryingRange of applicationsANDRITZ belt drying systems are used in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, food and stimulants industries and for dyes and pigments. The belt dryer is suitable for the drying of free-flowing, crumbly, crystalline and lumpy products as well as malleable pastes.
Technical characteristicsThe modular style allows the construction of plants for even small product quanti-ties. A wet product input of several tons per hour is also possible.
Optionally adjustable drying times and a subdivision into drying zones guarantee an optimized adjustment of the drying process for the respective product.
ANDRITZ belt dryers of the type BDC are largely produced in stainless steel. Wire mesh or chain-guided hinge plate belts can be used as a conveyor belt.
Indirect heating is carried out using steam, thermal oil or waste heat from an existing plant. Direct heating is possible with a gas burner.
Product input systems are available from ANDRITZ adapted to each single pro-duct.
