Future multi-PC update batch file: ---------------------------------- - When pearl detects it is out of date it now checks for the existence of a batch file on the Y drive ("Y:\Pearl\MultiStationUpdate.bat"). If it exists then the user is asked if they want to run it. It is envisaged that this feature could be used to automatically update multiple workstations at large

Note: At the moment English prices have been applied. Kodak Xray Link: ---------------- - This has been amended for use on Windows 7 computers. Pearl can now close down the TW.EXE process (if asked to do so by the user). It was found that the Kodak TW.EXE program wouldn't fully close down (if it had been used to view xrays for a patient) on Windows 7 computers. It would disappear from the screen but keep running in the background. The next time someone tries to use the TW program it refuses to operate (because it believes it's still running). Pearl can now close down this invisible TW.EXE program - to allow it to operate once more. Northern Ireland HS45 claims: ----------------------------- - Pearl can now over print paper HS45 claims. - Patient registration date is also remembered. - Note: Contract type is calculated from when todays date is compare against the patient's registration date (and if the patient is a referral one or not). Contract Types are as follows: Contract | explanation ----------+------------ Referred | If patient referral ticked is ticked. This overrides other rules. Dormant | If registration date is blank or todays date is outsite the patients last | registration period (2 years in Norther Ireland). Live | Todays date is with in the patients registration period (and not within the last 3 | months of that period). Finishing | Todays date is within the last 3 months of the patients registration period. - If the patient's contract is "Dormant" and a new HS45 is created then part 3 "initial registration" is ticked automatically. If the patients contract is "Referred" then part 3 "treatment on referral" is ticked automatically. If the patients contract is not "Referred" or "Dormant" then part 3 Re- registration" is ticked automatically. - It is assumed the "NHS number" on the patient record screen us used to store the CHI number for HS45s. - HS45 patient charges can be imported into a patient's accounts. - In part 7C only the last three codes have "free replacement" tick boxes against them. - The HS45 overprinting facility was designed for revision 04/09 of the paper claims. - Part 7C dentist charges are not over printed. - When Pearl detects the practice is a Northern Ireland practice the "NHS" button on the patient record screen no longer displays a list of FP17 claims. It displays a list of HS45 claims instead. - The "HS45 History" screen also has a "patient registration information" button on it. This allows you to amend the patient registration date. New cash drawer feature: ------------------------ - Pearl can now open a cash drawer when a cash / cheque payment has been entered. An additional BHA cash drawer controller program has to be installed. It has been designed to work with a "GIGA-TMS Inc Cash Drawer Trigger DT105U" and "Prolific Technology Inc. USB-to-Serial Comm Port Driver". - When entering a cash payment a "Patient payment" screen appears that allows for easy calculation of change. - Whenever pearl opens the cash drawer for a cash payment the text "D OPEN" is stored in the cheque number field. These notes are useful as they are displayed on the banking report. If the cash entry is subsequently edited this note disappears. These notes are not created if the drawer is left open. - The cash drawer feature only operates if pearl discovers the presence of the BHA cash drawer controller program (and if the status of the drawer can be checked). - When this feature is enabled an extra "open cash drawer" button appears on the "transactions" screen. It can be used to open the drawer. When used a zero cash payment is raised against the patient (with "DRAWER OPEN" as the payment comment). This is so the open drawer action appears on the banking report. - Note: The BHA cash drawer controller program times out after 5 seconds (when attempting to get the status of the cash drawer). Banking report:

--------------- - An extra "Last Touched By" column has been added to it (and the re-print report). - This column displays the user code of the last user who touched the entry. If the user has subsequently been removed from Pearl then it will display a '?' character followed by the first 4 characters of their user name. If the entry was put into pearl before users where added to Pearl then only the letter '?' will be displayed in this column. - To accomodate the extra column the text on the report now prints right up against the left and right margins of the report (the same 10mm margins that applied previously). - Zero value payments now appear on new banking reports. Reports -> FP17 Status -> Late submitted Claim Report: ------------------------------------------------------ - The date range/s used by this report have been changed. It is now more accurate than before. E.g. For the 2009-2010 year the following dates are used: - FP17 completion between 1/4/09 and 31/3/10. - Last sent date between 1/4/09 and 30/6/10. Note: The June cut off is to incorporate June's schedule. June's schedule data is needed as this will include claims sent as late as 31/5/10 (which is the official cut off date for sending last years claims). - We discovered that the date the board receive the claims can be different to when you send them. The closest we've come to finding these dates are by using the dates stamped on the batch acknowledgement files that are returned from the board. Processing delays found so far are caused by: - (a) Bank holidays. - (b) Claims being transmitted too late in the day for that nights processing. - The difference between completion date and date of receipt must be more than 62 days to cause it to be classed as "late submitted". - Amending a mistake and re-submitting a claim (with replacement form indicator) will change it's "last transmission date" and can cause it to become "late submitted". - Some of the columns on the report are explained as follows: Column | Explanation --------------------+------------------------------------------------------ Form Created date | The date the claim was added to Pearl. Creation Days Late | Number of days late between completion date and created date. First Signed Date | The date the claim was first signed. Signed Delay | Number of days between completion date or creation date (whichever is later) | and the first signed date. Last Sent Date | Last transmission date. Days Late Sent | Number of days between completion date and last transmission date. Processed Date | Batch acknowledgement response file date (batch processed date). Days Late Processed | Number of days between completion date and processed date. - The "Ave. Days Late" figure comes from the total "days late sent" divided by the form count. - The text in the left hand boxes of the 3 grids is now right aligned. Treatment plan screen: ---------------------- - In the previous version of pearl there was the following bug: On a private patient (a patient with status that was not "NHS") the treatment plan screen would appear in a private only mode. When in private only mode only private treatment plan items can be selected. If a treatment plan item is selected (that is available for both private and NHS work) then it would be added to the treatment plan - but it would be defaulted to NHS. As the "private" ticks are disabled in private only mode the treatment could not be switched to private. This bug has been fixed. - The wording of "Normal NHS Price" has been changed to "Normal NHS PRice (if no exemptions)". Patient record screen: ---------------------- - When the "Ortho" button is pressed the patient record is now automatically saved before the list of orthodontic assessments appears. Previously pressing on the Ortho button on a newly entered patient caused an error - which this fixes. Xray Quality tool: ------------------ - The quality values have been swapped around. Previously pearl had 3 as top quality and 1 as poorest quality. Now 1 is top quality and 3 is poorest quality. Xray faults can be ticked against quality levels 2 and 3. Previously entered Xray quality values are automatically swapped over when pearl's database is updated to this version. Diary screen: ------------- - The buttons on the left hand side of the calendar have been re-arranged and some renamed. - The "Find a Slot" button has been replaced by 2 buttons "Single" and "Family". The single button should be used to find a slot for a single individual. The "Family" button should be used to find a slot for a family. Find a slot: ------------ - By popular request we have added the facility for a family to find a slot. Seperate "single" and "family" buttons are used on the diary screen (for a single person or a family). - The "single" find a slot button displays the old "find a slot" screen (with the "Find a slot for family" button removed). - When the "single" find a slot tool is used to find 2 appointments for a patient the "New Appointment Confirmation" screen now has an extra "Book Other Family Members AT SAME TIME" button on it, New "family" find a slot tool: ------------------------------ - By default this lists family members (with same first line of address, postcode and default dentist) as the currently selected patient (on the diary screen). To select other family members (who may have a different default dentist) click on the "Select Family Members" button. - If appointments are required for one dentist / hygienist then both family booking methods are available: (a) SAME slot and (b) Staggered individual slots. - If appointments are required for two dentists / hygienists then only the "SAME slot" booking method is available. - The "BookDent1" and "BookDent2" patient tick boxes are used to indicate which family members will require the first / second appointments (by default BookDent1's are all ticked). - Other on screen settings are identical to those found on the "single" find a slot tool. - Note: If the staggered booking method is used the order of the individual appointments can be changed. Other computers will need to have pearl restarted (to refresh the cache on each workstation). Previously the current workstation had to have pearl restarted (and no message was shown on screen to indicate this). Web transmit program: --------------------- - An extra check is carried out when creating batches of FP17s. If the performer number / dentist code combination (on an FP17) does not match those saved in the corresponding dentist record then an the claim is added to the error report (indicating this invalid code / performer combination exists on the claim). This is to help prevent "invalid pin" response messages. FP17 screen: ------------ - If no part 5a (Clinical data set) has been filled in an new warning is displayed when the form is signed. New Late submitted claim report: -------------------------------- - By popular request this new report has been added to pearl. FP17 Claims transmitted more than 62 days after completion date are "late submitted" claims. The rules differ from PCT to PCT but some may recognise incomplete claims as not being "late submitted".

- PDF995 printer driver tool updated for Vista computers. Setup patient status screen: ---------------------------- - An extra "NHS status" tick box has been added to indicate whether or not the patient is NHS or private only. By default it is ticked for both the "NHS" and "PART PRIVATE" status's. If a patient's status is not NHS then it is assumed the patient is a "private only" patient. Patient record screen: ---------------------- - A new black '£' symbol appears to indicate the patient is in credit. - A new green tick symbol appears to indicate the patient has an appointment booked in the future. - If the patient status is not an "NHS" one (and the patient doesn't have any April 2008+ FP17 claims) then the NHS symbol disappears. - Patient Labels / Lists -> Detailed Patient List Report: RHS margin increased to 15mm. - NHS button checks -> Now only 1 warning can appear. Previously multiple warnings could appear after each other. - If a patient's status is non-NHS (see new NHS status setting mentioned above) then the "NHS" button disappears. However, if the patient has old April 2008 style FP17s, then the "NHS" button is retained. However you are not allowed to create new FP17 claims against a private only patient. Web transmit program: --------------------- - The detailed pre-batch report has had it's RHS margin increased from 13.6mm to 15mm. FP17 screen: ------------ - The screen resizing issue has been overcome. Previously, in version 7.202 on computers with large screens, the screen could not be displayed. This problem has been fixed. - The PDS Plus / non-PDS plus status of the dentist on a claim is now remembered (and K.P.I. parts of the form only appear if the dentist was a PDS PLUS dentist when the claim was originally created). Previously the current PDS Plus / non-PDS plus status of the dentist was always checked. Treatment plans: ---------------- - A new "Private Reports" button has been added. This allows the printout of private estimate reports from treatment plans. The private estimate reports from the old "private only" part of pearl have been re-used (this includes MS Word mail merged ones). So there is no need to design new bespoke reports for private treatment plans. Like the old private system their are 3 print options: - All treatment. - Done treatment. - Done not billed treatment. Notes: - If you have the "private form version" set to 1 then only the "All treatment" print option is available. - These reports can only display a maximum of 15 treatments. - If the treatment plan contains NHS treatment then the "code" column on the reports display "NHS" or "PRIV.", otherwise it's blank. - NHS charges are not displayed on these reports however NHS treatments are listed. - When a treatment's description is less than 32 characters long the 3 digit tooth code is appended to the description. - Printing these reports does not lock the treatment plan. - If the "private form version" setting is set to 1 then the treatment plan is billed all at once. The treatment's "done" setting is ignored and all non-billed treatments are billed when the "££" button is used. However, unlike the old private only part of pearl, the "done" and "billed" tick boxes are still displayed on screen. - The "Locked" / "Unlocked" indicator has been moved below the plan id on the screen. - The treatment plan screen now changes for private only patients (see patient status change above). It does not change if you open an old treatment plan that included NHS treatments. A holiday screen appears that allows you to create further x days of holiday (or set an end date). - If you create further holiday appointments (which are identical to the first one) and those appointments clash with existing appointments then a "Clashing" report can be used to list the other appointments that should be re-scheduled. New Xray links: --------------- - Dolphin Imaging - Dolphin. OLE automation server 2 link made to Dolphin version 11.0.03.35 Premium. - Sopro / Acteon group - Sopro. Link created for Sopro's "Type SI" link (version 1.70.230 of Sopro). Family appointments: -------------------- - Booking family members at the same time: The family members list is now wider so that the dentist column can be seen without scrolling. - New "Booking family members in staggered appointments" feature added. The back end database files (for Y drive) are installed first (with normal user permissions) followed by a separate installer (requiring administrator rights) that will install front end files. This was done to solve a user account control problem with MS Vista computers. The back end installer actually installs the front end installer (and activates it). - Error reporting has been improved. If a file couldn't be installed (possibly due to security issues) the user is informed on screen. - New "BackEndVersion.txt" file is added to Y:\Pearl folder. It's used for 2 purposes: Firstly, when the update installer is ran on multiple computers, the back end files are only updated once (and upgrading of other computers doesn't require everyone coming out of Pearl). Secondly the version number is checked against the installer program version (in case, in the future, the user attempts to run an out of date installer). - New "AppendixH.pdf" and "BHA software" links are added to start menu. The later is to our website. Full Installer Note: -------------------- - New Pearlbackup program is now automatically installed (together with VB6 runtimes). - Batch files for the old floppy disk backup and restore procedures are no longer installed. - Old Kermit transmission files (down8 etc) are no longer installed. - If Pearl8.mde is detected the installer stops. This prevents the full installer being ran twice on the same computer. Users / passwords: ------------------ - Users have been added to Pearl. By default an ADMIN user is created (with the same password as Pearl's old main database password). When logging into Pearl if only 1 user is defined you are prompted for the password. If there are multiple users then you will have to enter the User Code first. For added security an "edit user" password can be used to limit access to user settings. - The currently logged in user will appear at the top of Pearl's main window. New security measures: ---------------------- - Access to the reports menu and the monitor program can be restricted by setting security passwords. New Treatment Plan feature: --------------------------- - This feature is designed to generate "substitute" FP17DC printouts. - Treatment items can be NHS / private. - Old items of private treatment can be imported as treatment plan items.

Here the previous form could have been a urgent filling (non-root filling). - Part 6 "free repair / replacement" patient charge rule change: The patient charge may reflect the current charge band or it could be identical to a lower band charge or it can be zero. Family filter: -------------- - Null information in surname / address 1 / postcode fields no longer affects the operation of this filter. Move / copy appointment tool: ----------------------------- - This has been amended to allow the movement / copy of all appointments starting at a particular time. This is useful for moving family appointments. Quick Search list (Patient Record screen and dairy screen): ----------------------------------------------------------- - New Dentist column added. Previously you would have seen a message asking you to save the patient. This has now been changed so the selected patient now appears. However overlapping bookings are allowed for people in the same family. New XML re-decode tool: ----------------------- Note: This program for Baker Heath use only. - If you have a partially decoded incoming XML file from the board (which you would be told about in the "communication problems" section of the web transmit program) then Baker Heath can talk you through using this tool to re-decode it. Detection of missing response files from the board: --------------------------------------------------- - The transmission reception part of the web transmit program now detects whether any files are missing from the board. Charting: --------- - New symbols and categories have been added (e.g. Green square is now "CR"). These changes have been in line with the symbols listed in the June 2007 "Dental Charting" National certificate examination booklet produced by the National examining board for dental nurses. - The cross 'X' symbol can now be rubbed out using a blank tooth symbol. Upgrade notes: -------------- - History incoming xml files are scanned to find response file serial numbers. - Charting entries are upgraded to be compatible with new symbols. - Zero ethnic groups values are removed from patient records - to prevent ethnic group zero getting into FP17s. - Zero length strings (on patient record fields) are replaced by Nulls (to aid filtering). - Pearl now detects whether practice is welsh or not. Installer puts either "EnglishPractice.txt" or "WelshPractice.txt" inside Y:\Pearl folder and Pearl detects the presence of the file. - Schedule UDA / UOA confirmed points are fixed for forms where multiple schedule entries from the board were received in the wrong order. - April 2008 FP17 printout version added and automatically set for printing on 27th October 2008 style forms. Web transmit program: --------------------- - Response file serial numbers are now saved in order to pinpoint missing response files. Going into transmission reception carries out this missing response file check. These are listed in communication problems. - Partially decoded response files are now detected (when entering transmission reception). These are listed in communication problems. - A "processing" screen has been added - to prevent the user from closing the program down when it is busy working. - Passwords have been changed to prevent users from deleting things they shouldn't. Also passwords are no longer visible when they are typed in. - Zero ethnic group values can no longer be sent to the board. This prevents 9025 error messages coming back from the board. - Transmission production -> heading wording change from "Files to be transmitted" to "Outgoing Files" - The notification that you need to make an extra batch (having encountered 100 form limit) is now more prominant. - An Extra FP17 id column has been added to the Batch reports (also report margins reduced to fit it in). - Utilities -> NHS file list report added (list response file serial numbers and dates). - Re-transmitting a batch to the board no longer creates extra, unnecessary, "sent" entries in the progress table. - Timeout error -2147012894 has now got extra explanation explaining what occured. - FP17 Exemptions and remission evidence seen / not seen mix up has been fixed. Previously: ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- - Nursing mother and Wales exam ticks were okay (a fluke to do with the order of things in the “processing” document from the DPB). - Prisoner tick was okay as same code if evidence seen or not. - All other ticks got evidence not seen / seen mixed up. This was not picked up during testing with the board. It affects all April 2008+ forms sent before this version. Tidy program: ------------- - This now copes with poor / slow network connections. Any Pearl station can now safely tidy the main back end database/s. Back end database's are copied to the local computer before tidy operations begin. Mail Merge fields: ------------------ - The following new last appointment mail merge fields have been added: LastAppDATE LastAppTIME LastAppEndTime LastAppNOTES LastAppDentistName LastAppCheckupYN Word mail merging: ------------------ - OE issue has been fixed. Previously the letters "OE" where incorrectly replaced by the pound sign symbol £. - The "remove duplicates" option has been removed. This was because it was unclear which family members would be mail merged and which weren't. - A new "Are you sure" question has been added that explains how many records are about to be mail merged and asks whether you want to continue with the mail merge process. Transfer patients tool: ----------------------- - You can now move patients from one hygienist to another. DB utilities program: --------------------- Note: This program for Baker Heath use only. Modifications list below. - The characters .,-()/= are now removed by "Capitalise and validate" buttons. - New "Zero Length Strings to Nulls" button has been added. - Re-sign batch tool now checks for responses / schedules not processed and if previous batch not printed before allowing a batch to be re-signed.

FP17 forms: ----------- - Opening issue: -------------- - Previously, opening an FP17 (that has a blank acceptance date) was not possible (because Pearl could not determine which prices applied to the form). This has been fixed. Such a situation could only occur if the database was damaged previously. This only affected non-ortho forms. - New Exemption and remission code for 27th October 2008: ------------------------------------------------------- - New "Income-related employment and support allowance" has been added to both FP17 & FP17O forms. - As a side affect Welsh forms are now printout differently to english ones. Pearl printouts have been amended to cope with this. - screen size limit: ------------------ - FP17 forms cannot be displayed on screens with vertical resolution of 1200+ pixels. Previously Pearl would hang but now you get a notification message informing you that you've reached this limit. - Signing FP17 form checks: ------------------------- - If the form has already been sent to the board in a batch - and that batch has not been printed yet - then you are not allowed to resign the form until that batch has been printed. - On non-ortho FP17's the combination of Part 5 "Band 1" and Part 6 "Treatment on referral" is now permitted. FP17 April 2008 UDA UOA totals report: -------------------------------------- - When "Last sent date" used information in the "Last Sent" column on the report was cut off. This has been fixed. - New "Only show Schedule Mismatches" tick box added (appears when status set to "scheduled"). When ticked both the "Include old form UDA / UOA figures" tick box and the "View summary" button are disabled. It produces an "FP17 Mis-Match List" report - which only lists forms where claimed and confirmed points (or patient charge) disagree. Dept Chasing -> Process Accounts: --------------------------------- - Previously, you couldn't set a patient to dormant if all that patient's accounting information had been deleted. This has been fixed. - A new check has been added to stop accounts from being processed twice on the same day. Setting up Appointment Mask: ---------------------------- - Previously, entering a value in the "shift" box would make the dentist jump to the first dentist in the list. This has been fixed. Monitor program: ---------------- - Previously FP17 -> Part 5 -> Prescription counter was always zero. This has been fixed. - Previously FP17O -> extractions box on printout had '0' in it if no extractions took place. This has been fixed. - Previously FP17O -> Part 6 field totals were filled in incorrectly. This explains the short descriptions sent by the board on schedules. Cached quick search list option: -------------------------------- For practices with a very large patient base and slow / busy networks we have added the ability to use cached quick search lists (Personnel, Practice and Parameters -> System Parameters -> Further Settings tab). - When enabled it operates as follows: ------------------------------------ - When Pearl starts up it checks how old it's cached patient list is. If it's over a day old it is automatically refreshed (refreshing happens quickly). - Opening the patient record screen is faster. Opening the diary screen is faster. - If a new patient has been added to the database (via another computer) you can manually refresh your local copy of the patient list via the "refresh" button (refreshing happens quickly).

Clinical Notes and Medical Notes: --------------------------------- - Previously, an attempt was made to automatically scroll these notes fields to the bottom (to allow people to see the most recent notes immediately on screen). This attempt failed. These notes fields are now as they where before the attempt. When clicking on the clinical notes (or medical notes) button/s you can now immediately type your notes as before. Upgrade notes: -------------- - The version number in the back end database has been increased to force all workstations to be updated at a practice. - MS Office 2007 service pack 1 and MS Windows installer 3.1 have been added to the update CD. This was only an omission on the FP17 form not the FP17O. Transaction Screen: ------------------- - After importing a patient charge (from an April 2008+ FP17 / FP17O) into patient transactions the transaction screen would assign further payments as "private" instead of "NHS". This has been fixed. - In version 6.401 the A5 receipt report was Landscape. This has been changed back to portrait. This report uses an additional practice logo / header picture: Filename: Y:\Pearl\PatientReceiptA5Logo.bmp Ideal number of colours = 256 Width: 453 pixels, 12cm Height: 177 pixels, 4.7cm If the A4 logo is found Pearl asks the user if they wish to copy it for use as the A5 logo. Patient Record Screen -> Day List: ---------------------------------- - This has been amended to cope with appointments that have the time missing. Such appointments should be deleted as they have been entered into the database by accident. Note: At the time of writing this we have not identified the mechanism that creates these entries. We suspect it may be an issue with MS Access 2007. Patient Quick Search List: -------------------------- - Blank entries in this list have been removed automatically when the database is updated to V6.41. Banking report: --------------- - The list of old banking reports was sorted incorrectly. This has been fixed. Diary screen: ------------- - One dentist requested a longer appointment list so this screen has been re-designed. The "HERE" column has been moved (it was the 2nd column now it's the 4th column along). The appointment list is now to the right of the screen and is narrower than before (although a horizontal scrollbar will allow you to view it's contents). The calendar date selector is now in the middle at the bottom and the remaining buttons are in the bottom left hand corner. Find a slot utility: -------------------- - This has been amended so that, if the calendar is set to today and you want to find a slot, then it only looks at slots from the current time onwards (i.e. it won't find a free slot in the past today). If you set the calendar to a date in the past a warning message appears confirming your intention to locate a free slot in the past (it doesn't prevent this action, just warns against it). Patient receipt reports: ------------------------ - The heading (on both A4 and A5 receipt reports) has been changed. It now only says "Receipt". It's font has been reduced in thickness. FP17 Continuation of treatment rules added: ------------------------------------------- - If part 6 continuation of treatment ticked then some new rules have been added to check that the form's acceptance date is within 2 months of a previous form's completion date (and that the band patient charge used is the same, or lower, than that on the previous form). Any urgent (non continuation) forms between this form and the previous form are ignored. The "previous form" must be a completed form (band 1-3 only). If no previous form could be found (Within the Pearl system) then the 2 month / band check is not applied (in case that form was submitted to the board before Pearl was installed at the practice). FP17 screen: ------------ - New "refresh patient information" button added. This allows you to re-import patient information into an FP17 form. This helps out if incorrect information was put in the FP17 when it was first created. - The layout of the screen has been changed so that it looks identical to the new 2007 FP17 paper forms.

A rule now stops this. - Account statement report button removed. This has been superceded by the "Transaction History" button on the "Transactions" screen. You can no longer type in status values that do not appear in the list. In the part of Pearl that configures this list you can tick whether or not a status value is linked to discount prices. When Pearl upgrades a database from version 5.8 to 5.9 it fills the list with all status values found in patient records. The exception to this rule are status values that start with "DENPLAN". Some practices add a Denplan contract number after the word "DENPLAN" in the status box. Pearl extracts these contract numbers and put them in the new contract number field (and the status value is set to just "DENPLAN"). Now multiple status entries can be associated with discount private prices and there is a dedicated field for private contract numbers in the patient record screen. MS Word mail merging: --------------------- - Clean CSV procedure now operates faster (this removes stray 00:00:00 time values from date only fields). - When editing a template (or running a mail merge) you now see more explanation as to what is happening. This helps explain what is going on when, as far as you can see on screen, nothing appears to be happening (this can occur in certain circumstances). It can be edited at the same time as a current course of treatment. - New "End treatment" button added. The tick list is user configurable and we have already populated it with some defaults for you. The medical warning tick box has been moved from the patient screen to the medical history screen. Clinical Notes screen: ---------------------- - You can now put carriage returns into notes without using CTRL key. - It now copes with record locking problems. Previously your new clinical notes would disappear when you close the clinical notes screen down (and either the pencil was on the patient record screen - OR someone else was editing the patient). Also, combinations of 2 people adding to clinical notes at the same time (1 via charting program, 1 via Pearl on another computer) have been taken into account.
