Administration Please arrive at 9.00 for warm-ups so that we can kick-off at 9:30 am. Please bring spare playing shirts or bibs in case of kit clashes. Refreshments will be provided for all players and coaching staff. There will be hot and cold refreshments for parents and staff from 9.00 am in
the pavilion. All players will shake hands on the halfway line before each match. Games
will finish with teams shaking hands and “Three Cheers”. Rules
Teams will play a maximum of 6 matches minimum of 4 11-a-side matches. Off sides will be enforced. Maximum Squads of 15 players. Teams can use a rolling substitute system
with the exception of penalties. The team on the pitch at the end of normal time can only be considered.
15 Minutes one way. Injury time will be played if required to a maximum of 3 minutes
3 points for a win and 1 for a draw. In the event of a tie for positions in the group, goals scored in all the group
games will come into play, followed by goal difference, then the result between the sides involved. If teams are still tied then a penalty competition will take place. (3 each then sudden death).
In all Knock Out matches of both the main/plate competition, if a match is drawn then 5 Minutes of Golden Goal will be played. If no winner is achieved penalties (5 each then sudden death) will determine the result.
I would invite everyone to stay for the Presentations, which will be held at the pavilion at around 1:30 pm.
I look forward to seeing you on the day and hope that your side will be richer for this football experience! I would also like to take this opportunity to thank all of my Belmont colleagues for giving up their Saturday morning to support in the running of this event.
Any problems please don’t hesitate to get in touch.Regards,
Mr P Symes Head of Boys Games
Player and Spectator Code of Conduct
Win with modesty and lose with dignity! – Do not show off and do not ridicule other teams.
Always respect the referees’ decisions – even if you think they are wrong!
Shake hands and “three cheers” with the opposition team after the game.
When supporting parents should give POSITIVE encouragement and applaud good play from BOTH teams.
