Hello People!
April flew by and the month of May is already upon us! Flowers are blooming, trees have leaves and the grass is green! Spring is a beautiful time of the year. It always is reminds us of hope – that after the dreary winter, new life springs forth all around us! Take the time to enjoy the sights and smells of spring!
Dawn and I want to continue to thank all of you for your support as we are rebuilding/remodeling our homes. It is a slow process and we appreciate all your kind words and generosity! In a world where we hear about the negative actions, it is the opposite at our center! Each day we feel the warm embrace and positive thoughts and prayers from you! We truly are family here, and words can not express our deep appreciation for your kindness.
Love, Kathy and Dawn

Things we learned by being a mom:*How to change a diaper in the dark, in a parked car, on a standing child, or all
the above at the same time!*The locations of all the public restrooms in town.
*Why anyone would retrace their steps for miles for a lost blanket *How to open a door while juggling two lunch boxes, two extra coats, a purse,
a diaper bag, a stuffed animal and a baby!*How little sleep a human body could actually function on!
*The pain of stepping on a lego.*How wonderful a nap truly is !
**And how much you can love one human being!**
May is a busy month, filled with gatherings, graduations and picnics. We celebrate moms, graduates and outdoor parties. We should also take time to reflect and honor those who fought for our freedom and our rights. Memorial Day is not to be confused with Veterans Day – Memorial Day is a day of remembering the
men and women who died while serving. Originally called Decoration Day, Memorial Day was declared a national holiday by
an act of Congress in 1971.
