(L-R) Mayor Joe Kyles – City of South Bay; Mr. Edward H. Tucker-PBSC-Belle Glade

Campus; Mr. Jon Katov – CEO, Open Table

What is Open Table? The Open Table uses a community-based, bottom-up, grassroots model to draw together the relational, intellectual and social capital of communities to transform poverty.

Congregations and community organizations use the Open Table model to create community and transformation through relationships with individuals and families who are homeless or experiencing poverty, including young adults, veterans, probation/re-entry, survivors of human trafficking, refugees, and others.

Through an invitation from Mayor of South Bay the Honorable Joe Kyles, PBSC – Belle Glade Campus was represented at the inaugural kick off meeting with Open Table CEO Jon Katov at Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church where the PBSC partnership was initiated.
