August 19 2013• Beowulf gives the lineage of both Beowulf and Grendel.

The Geats and the Danes of the 6th century believed parentage and ancestry established your place in the world. Create a genealogical chart such as the one in the back of your copy of Beowulf for yourself.

• Choose either to go back in time charting your ancestors-parents, grandparents, great aunts and uncles, etc.

• Or • Choose to imagine the lineage you will create in the

future. Begin with yourself and create a dynasty in the future!
