Belda ŞENEL PARLAK Member, Board of Directors
Belda Şenel Parlak was born in Ankara, Turkey in 1976. She finished her primary school in Vienne. Following her secondary and high school education in Ankara, she graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Law in 1997. Between 1997-1998, Mrs. Parlak completed her law internship and received her attorney's license in Ankara Bar Association.
Her professional career started as Assistant Specialist in Ministry of Industry and Trade in 1998. She worked as Consumer and Competition Expert between the years of 2002-2009; as Legal Counsel in the same Ministry between 2009-2013. Between the years of 2011-2013 worked as Legal Counsel in Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology. She was appointed as Head of Department of Directorate General for Safety and Inspection of Industrial Products in 2013.
She was appointed as Chief Legal Counsel in Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology, in January 09, 2016. She has been Chief Legal Counsel in Undersecretariat For Defense Industries in Ministry of National Defense since December 02, 2016.
She has a law internship completion dissertation on Intellectual and Artistic Works According to Law on Intellectual and Artistic Works and a Thesis of Expertise on Legal Disputes Arising from Consumer Loans and the Practice of Law no.4077 on the Protection of the Consumer.
She worked as Member of Consultative Committee (TURKAK), Electronic State Project; Member of High Disciplinary Board in Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology; Member of working group of World summit on the information Society; Commissioner of Law Studies related to amendments on the protection of the consumer. She was also Member of Specialization Commission on Board of Advertisement. She worked as an EU Participant in the Negotiations process and as a participant in the protection of fragmented scanning Consumer. She worked as an Instructor in-service training for ministry personnel. She has also several law studies and membership. She is married with one child.
She has been the Member of the Board of Directors of the Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) since March 17th, 2017.
