1-About BIS

Bekhrad International Inspection Services (BIS) was established in 1992 by a group of professionals coming

from a variety of disciplines such as inspection, insurance and banking. Company was established as an

Iranian private joint stock and was registered under registration number 92575 in Tehran.

An alliance with one leading European hydrocarbon Inspection

and testing company until mid-2005, gave impetus to start of

operations at Khark Island for inspection of outbound crude

carriers, soon joined by inspection of imported and exported

petroleum products and petrochemicals at Bandar Imam

Khomeini and Bandar Abbas. Although petroleum and related

products formed the core of activity, BIS soon diversified into

providing inspection services in a variety of fields and to a

diverse range of clients.

In 1995 BIS became the first Iranian private company to gain approval of Iran's Central Bank and institute

of Standards and Industrial Research of Iran (ISIRI) to perform pre-shipment Inspection of Iran's imports

at origin.

Today BIS is able to offer inspection services in over 100 countries throughout the world through its own

network and its long-standing reciprocal arrangement with leading independent inspection companies

Meanwhile this company has been established calibration laboratory in Assalouye in 1382 and is ready to

provide calibration services.

agricultural commodities and products including grains, edible oils, oil seeds, animal feeds, sugar

Consumer Products Inspections & Industrial Row Materials

Bekhrad International Inspection Services (B.I.S) provides a full range of inspections on Consumer

products, equipments and spare parts in countries of origin, countries of transit and Iranian Territories

BIS inspection in this field covers

1. Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI)

This inspection is carried out when the total consignment is

available, preferably fully packed and ready for shipment.

Such inspection is performed randomly and also called Final

Random Inspection.

2. Laboratory Testing

Samples of materials, components and finished products are

tested at accredited/third party laboratories in accordance with applicable standards as stated in

the related purchasing documents.

3. In-Process Inspection

This kind of inspection comprises a series of random inspections which are carried out during

manufacturing process of products as per instructions of our clients. C

4. Container Stuffing / Loading Supervision

In this kind of inspection, our inspectors are in attendance

while the consignment is being stuffed into containers or

loaded onto the vessel or truck.

5. Destination Inspection

This inspection is usually launched as per request received by

bank or standard organization branches located in customs

complexes.

6. Domestic Inspection

This inspection is usually conducted as per bank request and in accordance with the requirements

of domestic letter of credits.

7. Conformity Assessment Inspection

This is a combination of pre-shipment inspection and laboratory testing in which the samples are

taken during inspection and tested for conformity with the requirements of international /

national standards accepted by Iranian authorities for importation / exportation of products. Test

results are examined by experts in Verification of Conformity (VOC) / Technical Department

prior to the final approval.

In 1382 and under registration no. 92575, Bekhrad International Inspection Services co. (BIS), concluded

a contract with Pars Jonubi Special Economic Energy Zone (Asalouye) for establishment of a calibration

laboratory.

To cope with existing industries' needs, the lab has been equipped with the most modern and valid

calibration facilities to render the calibration of pressure, temperature, electrical and torque-meter gages.

As the only ISIRI approved calibration lab. deep-seated in this region and owning the professional

expertise, we have the honor to announce our readiness to render calibration services to our all customers

Lift Inspection

In recent years the constructions of sky-highs have been rapidly

increased and witness the spread of high buildings in most cities of the

world. However having access to the top floors will be possible with

unpiloted Elevators and basically the construction of such building

and towers will be meaningless.

Thus, in The Elevator industry considerable measures have been

environment effects. Energy consumption in Iran is in high level because of society and cultural

situation. ISIRI according to consumption pattern amendment role is responsible of energy

Vehicle Type Approval Inspection The process of vehicle type approval, a process that is used to ensure the observance of safety features,

environmental and functional in design and production of the vehicle by doing tests, review and analysis

of documents and test reports as well as regular periodical inspections of the production line processes.

Furthermore the control of conformity of production vehicles produced in Iran in order to ensure the

continuity of the production of the product in accordance with the conditions and characteristics of the

type approved according to national standard number 6924 is also in the process.
