Task: Candy Bars

Standard: Number Sense and Operations - Fractions

Grade Level: 5

One afternoon at math club, each of the club’s officers brought their own candy bar. Each candy bar was the same size. Throughout the meeting, all of the officers munched on their candy bars. At the end of the meeting, everyone was complaining about having stomach aches.
