We live at an amazing time of transition where the opportunities for each individual and formankind as a whole are profound - as we collectively start to live from our hearts, and build ourlives on that new reality.

Turn to this booklet anytime you want to remind yourself of the power of your heart as both awellspring of love, and a vehicle for transmitting that into your world.

As you open it to read – know you are connected with a multitude of others who are also drawn toactivating their own heartfield and knowing themselves more fully as love.

Love is your Essential Nature

Love is the animating force within us all..

let it live fully through you.

Imagine that every person on the planet knows without doubt that their essential nature is love.They know this in such a way that love is free to shine through them in every moment, and theirlife is a reflection of this.

As you imagine this what occurs inside you? Does your mind reject the possibility? Does it seemunrealistic? Does your heart yearn for it? Is there a place deep within you that calls you to explorethis?

Whatever your reaction or response - accept it for what it is, and embrace it as you continue toread.

While you are reading put your hand over your heart area and let that area soften. Let yourbreathing become slow and calm, easy and deep. Sink down into yourself…sink down into yoursoftening and opening chest area…and breathe as if the breath is coming in and out of your heart.

Enjoy the feeling of breathing in and out of your heart for the simple pleasure of calm stillness itcan bring.

Now imagine that every person on the planet has a flame inside them, buried deep in their heart.This flame is more beautiful than words can describe, but for many has never been recognised orexperienced, and so they don’t realise what they carry within them.

This is the flame of pure love. It is eternal, unlimited and ever present. Pretend that you can feelthis inside you now. Just pretend.

Even though you are pretending - maybe you can feel a tingling sensation as you notice thewarmth of this flame? Perhaps you can see with your inner vision a brightening glow, which isbuilding as you continue to breathe through your heart?

Or could it be that you sense a deep resonance inside you that whispers ‘Yes’ to this?

The warmth, the brightening glow, and the deep resonance are signals from the flame inside youthat it is in fact real.

Even if you don’t see or feel its presence, perhaps you can entertain the mystery that it is stillthere - waiting for you to experience it.

Keep breathing through your heart, as the potential of all this gains momentum in you. What ifyou truly do embody the essence of pure love - along with everyone else? Pure love that is theenergy that creates worlds - the original force of creation. Pure love that is the source of richconnection with others; the foundation of fulfilment in work, the inspiration to expand to yourpotential; the wellspring of your vitality…your abundance…your magnificence…! What if all this isfully present in you now?

What if this love exists within you now and always - as a flame that is always burning, a reservoiryou can always draw on? What if it does not depend on being manufactured by your behaviour orattitudes? What if the love that you are - is independent of your circumstance in life? If you knewall this to be true, would it change anything? If you experienced it as real would it change yourperspective of yourself; your power, your potential and your place in the world?

So again, let’s just pretend for now - that this is true. Let’s pretend that you carry around withinyou the very essence of love and it is in fact your essential nature. How does that feel? Does itliberate you, inspire you…or perhaps overwhelm you? Whatever you feel, allow that to be thereand relax into it with acceptance.

Continue to experience the warm, nurturing pleasure of breathing through your heart. Have thesense that for this moment there is nothing else to do but breathe through your heart, andnowhere else to go – other than deeper into your heart.

So here you are - melting into the caring sanctuary of your heart. Sink down into that softembrace, let it feed you, heal you, enrich you and soothe you with its tenderness.

Breathe that all in…and on the out breath release any tension or resistance to letting the love thatyou are flow freely.

Again breathe in through your heart, and sink down into its peaceful stillness; into its deep safety,and as you breathe out feel yourself becoming freer and more able to be who you reallyare…more able to know yourself as love.

Your Heart is a Lighthouse of Love

Anchor yourself in your heart

and radiate the light of love that you are.

Everything about us originates from the substance of love…is created and sustained by love, whichis unlimited in its power and beauty. Therefore we are unlimited in our power and beauty.

This is a rather intangible fact - which can be out of reach to us when we are struggling with thechallenges of daily life. We might say, ‘What use is it to me that I am made from love, and myessential nature is love…if I feel miserable and life is difficult?’ Our heart has a special part to playin answering this question. For although we can access the love that we are through any aspect ofour being including our body and our mind…our heart has been custom built for the job of guidingus to live as the love that we are - in ways that are easy, effective and we could even say, practical.

If love is the medicine, the heart is rather like a doctor that knows how to administer themedicine. If love is wisdom then the heart is a friendly teacher who helps us really understand thesubject. If love is the raw material of life, the heart holds the instruction sheet for how to live a lifeof love.

Your heart is also similar to a bountiful garden that you can rest in and acclimatise yourself to thepowerful fact that you are love. Your heart will tend to you, and nurture you like a patientgardener, giving you just what you need to flourish, at a pace to suit your natural cycle of growth.

Then through simple and easy practices to access your heart’s resources, you will enable it tostrengthen you, expand and uplift you so that your life flows with greater ease. As this occurs, thelove that you are - becomes the reality that you are anchored in as a daily experience. When youhave arrived at knowing yourself as love in this way, emanating this love, and radiating it like abeacon, occurs naturally.

Wherever you are on this journey of knowing yourself as love, the Global Heartfield Meditationcan give you the opportunity to both channel your loving light to the world and travel deeper intoyour own heart’s grace.

It is our aim with the video, the audio recording and this booklet to support you in making themost of the Global Heartfield Meditation. It is our heartfelt wish that you feel enriched by theseand feel the love with which they have been created.

What is your Heartfield?

What energy are you broadcastingthrough your Heartfield in this moment?

Our bodies generate energy, and have waves of electromagnetic energy pulsing through them.Like lightbulbs, torches, or radios - we are energy transmitters.

Our heart creates the strongest electromagnetic field of any organ in the body, being about 60times stronger in amplitude than the electrical activity generated by the brain. The magnetic fieldcreated by the heart is over 5000 times stronger than that produced by the brain.

The heart’s energy field can be measured several feet away from the body. When someone isstanding next to you, the energy of their heartfield can be detected in your brain.

The energy that surrounds you therefore is predominantly created by your heart , and the natureof your field is determined by the frequency of energy that is flowing through your heart centre.

You can intentionally create a strong, clear, radiant field around you through doing heart basedpractices that activate the love that you are. We will cover some of these in Section 6. Also if youlisten to this recording regularly you will incrementally build your heartfield. You will start to glowfrom within, and radiate that out into the world around you - like a human sun.

The Benefits of Activating your Heartfield

When anchored in your Heartfieldyou can connect to

everyone else on the planet

through loving, compassionate intelligence.

There are a multitude of benefits that come from living from your heart and activating yourheartfield. We’d like to share as many of them as possible, so we have listed acondensed version of the key points here. This only really skims the surface of theprofound power of the heart, but we hope it excites you to know more. We’ve includedinformation at the end of this booklet with lots of resources where you can explorefurther.

v Through practices such as this meditation our intelligent heart brings our whole being intoa balanced, coherent state. This means the physical systems of our body such as nervoussystem, cardio vascular, respiratory and digestive systems are all brought into harmonyand function more effectively. As a result we have greater well-being and vitality.

v The coherence we speak of above also influences our emotional system, helping us toaccess heart based feelings such as love, compassion, peace and courage for example, andsupporting us to feel calmer, more present and aware.

v When we consciously use a heart based meditation such as this we activate the higherperceptual centres of the brain, so that we can respond to life with insight and wisdom,rather than react to it indiscriminately.

v The electromagnetic field of the heart expands out by several feet in a sphere around thebody. When we intentionally anchor ourselves in our heart - we empower our heartfield touplift us and all those around us in tangible ways that can be measured scientifically.

v When engaging in heart based awareness and practices, we raise our own frequency tothat of love. Love for ourselves, love for each other, and love for the planet.

v Meditating in this way gives us the blessing of knowing that we are part of a wave ofexpanding love and peace that is being made available to the planet and everyone on it.This fills us with grace which in turn expands and strengthens our heartfield evenfurther.

v This meditation and others like it are part of an ongoing opportunity to generate a newplanetary reality which will grow exponentially with every single person who does themeditation and then shares it.

There are many more benefits of activating the power of the heart and living from its upliftingpresence. For example, your heart is a powerful healer; it offers you a constant place ofsanctuary; it is a wisdom guide, and the best of friends who knows you intimately and loves youunconditionally.

Your heart is the anchor point for your authentic self and the powerhouse of your creativity. It is aportal to your soul, acting as a direct physical channel to your higher wisdom.

Your heart sees the big picture of who you truly are when you are living at your full potential, andwill lead you step by step to experience that.

In regularly doing this meditation you will start to build a relationship with your heart, and it willcarry you forward to know it more fully.

How to Activate your Heartfield

Your wise and loving heartwill help you..

..to know it and live from it.

In the video and audio recording we guide you to activate your heartfield. We are also giving yousome more information here about several of the key aspects of this to help you get the mostfrom the process.

GroundingSome types of meditation aim to transcend the physical experience of being human, howeverheart based meditations such as this help us embody our higher energies - to use them in daily life,and make them available in service to the world. Grounding facilitates this by supporting us to feelpresent, centred and fully alive - as the love that we are expresses through us, and we embracebeing human in physical form.

So as you begin this meditation intentionally ground yourself. As you sit or lie, become aware ofthe bed or chair beneath you…supporting you. Let your body relax into that support and feel howit is part of the earth’s strength and love that is available to you. Sense the energy of the earth riseup to refresh your body with clean stable energy, and allow any old energy from your body orenergy field to be released back into the earth to be recycled.

Doing this for a while is a perfect preparation for the next steps in this meditation, as it helps youshift from mind based thinking to a more centred state of presence - from which it is easier toconnect with your heart energy.

BreathingBreathing with awareness serves several purposes here, the main ones being…

● to bring calm and relaxation to your whole system.● a vehicle for bringing conscious attention to your heart area.● to maintain being anchored in present moment awareness in your heart.

So now build upon the relaxation that grounding brings, by putting your awareness on yourbreath. Allow yourself to enjoy several calm, easy, soothing breaths. With each breath feel yourbody sink down into deeper levels of peace and comfort.

Then put your attention on your heart area and have an intention to breathe - as if in and out ofyour heart. You can help yourself with this by putting a hand over your heart area if you wish.

IntentionIntention is activated in the present moment when we gather our energy, conscious attention andthe substance of our being into one pointed focus and channel it through clear choice.

When radiating our heartfield, intention plays a significant part. It integrates our willingness, ouractive choice, our sense of purpose and our expectation of the desired outcome. As a result weempower the process and give it much greater momentum.

When initiating something through intention we can also trust that it is occurring - even if we donot have a strong experience of it. We can allow for the possibility that something powerful hasbeen set in motion on a deeper level of our being and that the experience will follow.

So if your desire to ignite the flame of love within you and let it shine in the world, is not matchedby your experience of that actually happening…rely on the power of your intent and relax intoinner knowing that it is still occurring. Make a conscious choice to shift to your heart space whenyou initially start to breathe in and out of that area. Don’t worry if you don’t ‘feel’ much at first.Trust the power of your choice.

Gratitude and AppreciationActivating gratitude and appreciation is one of the most powerful ways to swiftly make a shift intoan open hearted, loving state.

Gratitude and appreciation are activities of the heart. They are powerful forces generated by theheart, which give us a means of entering our heartspace and expanding our heart energy.

When we choose to focus on something we are grateful for, immerse ourselves in appreciation forit, and give ourselves to that experience – we elevate ourselves to a state of being where innerblocks to our heart power melt away and we naturally shine as the love that we are.

Gratitude and Appreciation are very similar, and sometimes used interchangeably. There is asubtle difference though, which we will make use of in the meditation that accompanies this pdf.That is - gratitude is an intentional choice we make - to see the good in something…andappreciation is the energy state that arises in us - when we are fully immersed in the experience ofgratitude.

Therefore we can use gratitude as a stepping stone to start the process which takes us to theexpanded and sometimes blissful state of appreciation.

In the section of this booklet called ‘Meditations to boost your Heartfield’, we have included aGratitude and Appreciation Meditation. Explore how this additional meditation helps you feel theinner light and warmth that gratitude and appreciation can bring, and how that increases theradiance of your heartfield.

Smiling to Your HeartThis is a beautiful and effective route into your heart which draws upon inspiration fromIrmanshya Effendi who teaches Open Heart Meditation, and from the Inner Smile teachings ofTaoist Qigong.

We have included a meditation which guides you to experience the light and grace that can comefrom this uplifting practice, you will find it in the section ‘Meditations to boost your Heartfield’.

Enjoy it…!In radiating your heartfield you are loving yourself first before you expand that love out to theworld. You are basking in the energy of the love that you are, so fully - that it naturally extends outfrom you and into the world. Let yourself enjoy that. Revel in it, soak it up and delight in it…!In doing this you will amplify your heartfield immensely. The more you love yourself, and enjoythe experience of that - the more love you will radiate.

Enjoy knowing that you are making a contribution of the most wonderful gift to the world - yourloving attention.

Meditations to Boost Your Heartfield

Enrich yourself, your life and your world

by connecting with the radiancein your heart.

In the audio recording of the meditation that comes with this booklet we dive straight intorecognising the love that we truly are and radiating that. Here are two further meditations to helpbuild the energy of your heartfield in other supportive ways.

You might like to a friend to read them to you…to enable you to close your eyes while doing them.

Gratitude and Appreciation MeditationSettle yourself wherever you are, and let your energy sink down in relaxation, as you aresupported by the chair or bed. Take a few deep, calm, slow breaths. Sense how it feels to haveyour feet in contact with the floor and benefit from the grounding and support that gives you.Allow your body to become increasingly grounded, present and relaxed.

Bring your attention to breathing in and out of your heart. Sense how it feels to be thankful for thebreath that goes in and out of your chest – giving you life, filling your cells with vitality, andcreating the chemical reactions that keep your whole body energised.

Now bring to your awareness something personal to you that you are thankful for, something thathas benefited your life in some way. Maybe it is a book that you have enjoyed, your comfortablebed, an outfit you like, a delicatessen that creates your favourite sandwich, or a tree in yourgarden perhaps. Anything that gives you an immediate and easily accessible feeling of beingthankful.

Keep breathing in and out of your heart and say to yourself, ‘I am grateful for this. I recognise thebenefits and gifts it has given me and I am thankful for them’.

Maintain your breathing - in and out of your heart. Keep the rhythm calm and smooth, easy andcomfortable.

Feel your chest soften and open more as you do…feel the relaxation and ease flood your wholebody. Give yourself permission to open, permission to let your body flow with ease into theprocess, and let the glowing peaceful energy that is carried on your breath fill you, soothe you andopen your heart…more and…more…with each breath.

Now take yourself to something beautiful in your life. Something that lights you up, makes youreyes sparkle and your heart sing. It may be a person, a special place, a memory that you cherish,or an event that made you glow.

Take some time to really build your connection with this. Keep breathing in and out of your heartas you let the details fill your awareness. Experience it in whatever ways are the most powerful foryou – sight, sound, smell, taste or other sensations…whatever comes to the fore for you. How doyou feel inside when you connect with this? Let these sensations build, and keep breathing in andout of your heart. Let your heart energy amplify the experience.

Become aware of how your life is enhanced, energised, uplifted, enriched, empowered, expanded,and filled with love, joy, beauty, peace and meaning by the very existence of what you arefocusing on.

Allow your body to let go with ease into this experience, feel your chest soften and open evenmore, as you feel your heart power melting any resistance to letting this experience fill you.

Now as you breathe your easy, graceful heartbreath – silently say to yourself…’I open my heart indeep gratitude for this. I recognise the gifts and blessings of this and how it enhances my life withlove, joy, fulfilment and peace. I am grateful. I am grateful. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.’

Consciously release yourself more and more deeply into the experience, and open yourself up toallow your energy to flow. You might notice that something wells up inside you as this river ofuplifting energy builds and builds within you, while you keep your awareness on how grateful youare for whatever you are focusing on, and anchor yourself in the recognition of what a blessing itis in your life.

Take that recognition even deeper now.

Connect even more with whatever you have chosen to focus on. Notice the aspects of it thatparticularly fill your heart with love and joy. Notice the love you feel when you connect with this.Keep breathing in and out of your heart as you feel this love…and let it fill you. Notice how youropen glowing heart is full of appreciation for the thing, person or place you love. Allow yourself tobe filled with the impact of how much you delight in this thing, person, place or memory, and howyou truly see its immense value. It is as if you see the very love it is made from, and feel blessed toyour core by that.

Have a deep sense of willingness to let this appreciation fill every part of you - to let its energypermeate your cells and fill your being. Immerse yourself in it like a delicious pool you can swim in.Have a sense that it surrounds you, mingling with the very air that you breathe. Keep breathing itin and out of your heart, and you let yourself float in appreciation…bask in appreciation, as youconsider those special qualities that touch you so deeply and are so meaningful to you.

As you breathe in to your heart fill yourself with the value, gifts, beauty and blessings that youreceive, then as you breathe out feel your love and appreciation flow…and flow.

Notice what a joy it is to bask in the energy of appreciation. The energy of your cherishing,adoration, and valuing uplifts you - as it seems to pour out of you without effort. Appreciation hasbecome something you are ‘being’…rather than something you are ‘doing’.

Feel yourself radiate appreciation…it comes directly from your heart and fills the atmospherearound you, with tangible love and power.

The immensely uplifting energy of appreciation is always available to us. It is activated when wefocus on something we love. You have just switched on that power in you. Enjoy the benefits itgives you now and throughout the day.

When you prepare to return from the meditation take a moment to ground yourself. Place yourfeet on the floor and feel the supportive energy of the earth flow through you and strengthen you.Move onto whatever is next for you in your day, while allowing the grace and blessings of thisprocess to stay with you.

Smiling to your Heart MeditationSettle yourself in a comfortable position, where it is easy for you to relax and let your energy flow.Preferably place your feet on the floor, to enable you to be stable and grounded as you feelsupported by the earth beneath you.

Take a few peaceful, easy breaths as you let your body sink down in relaxation and comfort. Letyour shoulders drop and sense your whole body let go and unwind into deeper peace.

Bring your attention to your heart area, you might like to put your hand over your heart to helpyou with this. Have an intention to breathe, as if in and out of your heart. Sense your chest softenand open as you take each breath into your heart, then relax into even deeper ease, as yourelease it again, on the out breath.

Put you attention now on your face. Sense how you are holding the muscles of your face, andintentionally relax any tension. Let your forehead smooth out, allow your jaw to fall loosely, letyour cheeks relax, and let all the tension go… with a sigh. Allow this relaxation to cascade downyour whole body in a ripple of ease and peace.

From this place of stillness and comfort bring to your awareness something that makes you smile,such as sunlight on a flower, a beautiful memory, the way you feel about a loved one, orsomething that inspires you and fills you with joy.

Whatever it is put your full attention on it now, see it, sense it, feel it - in whatever way comesmost easily to you. Notice how this lights up your energy and fills you with pleasure. Be aware ofhow as a result - a smile is naturally emerging on your face.

Let that smile grow and build as you give yourself to the pleasure of this experience, revel in it,breathe it in, and let it circulate around your body.

Connect even more deeply with whatever makes you smile and sense the smile tingle on your lips,put light in your eyes, and beam from your face.

On your next out breath send this radiant, smiling energy down from your face, through yourchest and into your heart. Have a sense of smiling to your heart, as if it is a friend you love.

Notice how your heart responds to your smile, soaking up the joy you have generated in thisprocess. Your heart welcomes your smiling energy, amplifies it, and sends it back to your wholebeing with even greater power and love.

As this happens the smile on your face becomes more luminous. You feel your whole body isuplifted by the energy of the smile, that is relayed from the exquisite radiance of your face, toyour heart…and back again. With each breath in and out of your heart - feel this beautiful smilingenergy expand and grow.

You are now in a position of great opportunity. You have generated abundant loving energy withinyou – what is your intention now?

You might wish to go about your day continuing to emanate the light of your radiant heart,through your brilliant smile and glowing heartfield.

Or you may wish to turn further inward in deeper meditation to generate an even strongeramplitude of love that fills your heartfield and extends out into the world.

Whenever you are ready to bring this process to a close, take a moment to ground yourself. Feelyourself returning to being fully aware and present by sensing the energy of the earthempowering and strengthening you. Move into whatever is next for you in your day - with anintegrated sense of the beauty of your awakened heartlight being anchored in your groundedpresence.

As I prepared to write this section - sending my love and thanks to you, I (Josie) have taken amoment to sit with my eyes closed and connect with you from my heart. I see a multitude aradiant beams of light extending from my heart. One of these beams is the loving connectionbetween you and I.

I see the light radiating from your heart, again in a multitude of brilliant light beams - whichconnects your heart, and mine alike - with the hearts of many others around the planet, who arechannelling the love that they are, through this and other similar meditations. We are allconnected. We are lighting up the world.
