I need
Calcium!
It’s essential
for building
strong
bones &
Teeth!
A glass of milk or some ice cream
made with milk is a sure way to get
rich calcium!
1 to 3 years old - 700 mg of calcium daily
4 to 8 years old - 1,000 mg of calcium daily
9 to 18 years old - 1,300 mg of calcium daily
(1 cup of milk has about 300mg of calcium.)
Lots of supermarket cereals
contain calcium, like coco
pops, cornflakes and
porridge. Add milk and you
have a great start to the day!
Did you know that without Vitamin D,
the body cannot absorb calcium? A
few minutes of Sun a day or Vitamin
D rich foods should do the trick!
