The BEETLE / Express is an extremely compact all-in-one POS and kiosk system based on the energy-saving Intel Atom processor technology. It is equipped with a glare-free, inte-grated 10.4″ or 15” resistive touch display. The system impresses with a small footprint and an attractive all-in-one design. It is the ideal POS system for small and mid-sized retailers as well as service busi-nesses which desire a PC-based touch POS system with basic func-tionality.

The BEETLE /Express is a versatile and compact POS terminal or kiosk system with an elegant and stylish “all-in-one” design and graphical touch user interface. The system dovetails seamlessly into the open standards-based BEETLE POS fami-ly. It boasts a selection of standard and retail-specific interfaces.

Numerous peripherals tailored to the customer’s requirements can be directly integrated, for example: ▪ Magnetic card reader ▪ Customer display ▪ iButton waiter lock

The VESA-compatible mounting solution allows the BEETLE / Express to be used not only as a desktop model but also as a wall-mounted system. The splash-proof housing protects the system and incorpo-rates the 10.4″ or 15” LED backlight TFT display with improved bright-ness and clarity.

The BEETLE /Express uses the lat-est 5-wire resistive touch technolo-gy. Compared to the older 4-wire technology it offers excellent accu-racy and reliability, superior light transmission, faster response and high touch point density and input variety. Drift-free operation pre-vents irritating re-calibration.

Power-saving Intel Atom processor technology offers sufficient perfor-mance and guarantees lowest power consumption. The external power supply of the BEETLE / Express meets the Efficiency Level V stan-dards, which corresponds to an effi-

ciency of at least 85%. That is good for the environment and cuts oper-ating expenses for users.

Peripheral devices can be powered directly from the system which not only reduces the power consump-tion but also dispenses the need for additional power supply units.

A Kensington Security Slot can help keep thieves from walking away with the system.
