Introduction Bed Making: The technique of preparing different types of patient's comfortable bed in his/ her suitable position for a particular condition.

Types of bed making procedures: Unoccupied bed: used when the patient is able to get out of bed.

2-Occupied bed: used when the patient is not allowed out of bed.

Purpose1. To provide clean and comfortable bed for the patient.2. To reduce the risk of infection by maintaining a clean environment.3. To prevent bed sores by ensuring there are no wrinkles to cause pressure points.
