Where it all began...Having upheld several senior management positions in the motor industry, it was 2004 when Jo left to become an entrepreneur. It was here Jo was exposed to the world of networking. Whilst she found some value from it, it was here she listened to the requirements other friends in business that sought a safe place for established women to meet and energize one another, to share ideas, contacts and to learn. In 2010, Jo decided to put together a community of women that supported her drive to change the way women are represented in the world. Together today they work synonymously as they pave the way for a new woman’s global leadership paradigm.

Testimonials“Without AAW I would not have had the courage, confidence and enthusiasm to grow my business, take decisive action about our focus and make bold choices about our future. AAW is a constant source of support, expertise and excellence but on top of all that it’s fun. I have made some very good friends over the last two years. If you are serious about growing your business join this inspirational circle of business women - you will not regret it for a moment.”

Liz Katz, owner of Noisegate Media

“Well, I have just had the most amazing weekend of my working life so far! I did it! I pulled off my first event and it was amazing! Thank you AAW for helping me to get to where I am today and for helping me believe in myself enough to take the steps I have in the last 18 months. I didn’t imagine that this is what my life would be like right now and I love it; thank you!”

Clare Turner-Marshall, Tamworth Member

“It’s great to be part of a forward thinking Women’s business and development group where the members are “Walking their Talk”. I feel inspired every time I attend a Circle meeting. My business has already gained momentum since I joined only a few months ago as I’ve taken advice and practice onboard. I can’t wait for more!”

Testimonial of a Leader“I’ve just finished 2 days leadership training with Jo Cameron, I was very excited as a I knew how inspirational Jo is. However; I was very nervous too, wondering how much I had taken on, and how much real information I would be given about running a meeting. Well I’ve got it all! I know what the benchmark is for an excellent meeting, I know what qualities are needed for a powerful leader and I know the level of support available from the organisation. I’ve been filled with excitement, courage and my moral is boosted along with everything else you need before going into running your own group for the first time. I am on top of the world!”

Geraldine McCullagh, Leader of the Cheltenham Group

You will thrive off nourishing this new found growth that you created, as you enter a new chapter that supports women just like yourself to adopt the necessary skills and resources to make a change in their professional and personal lives, as well as your own.

A bit about Jo...AWW first began in 2010 by Jo Cameron, a leadership coach and well-known face in the media. Having worked across multiple channels including the BBC and writing for the Guardian secures her place as a real authority on Women’s Leadership issues. Her Masters Degree on the subject gained a distinction with a special commendation from her second marker at Oxford University.

Having been to multiple networking events throughout her career, oppressed by the forced exchanges of business cards and sixty second pitches, Jo knew she couldn’t have been the only person to find these dull, boring and generally erroneous. Her passion, commitment and enthusiasm to see more women in leadership positions, combined with two decades of coaching and leadership experience stemmed the perfect grounding for a business to grow and flourish.

AAW differentiates itself from the usual networking groups thatcenters on assisting start up’s, by focusing on supporting women with established businesses. AAW coaches leadership development amongst members, and educates women to challenge themselves. With the help and support of your group, anything is possible.
